I wanted to rent 5 bikes for our upcoming vacation, so I went to their website & sent them an e-mail. Waited a couple of days, no response. I thought maybe it didn’t work, so I send another & waited another day– no response. So, the next day I decided to call– got a machine & left a message. Never heard from them. Called the next day(should I have just moved on at this point? YES!) but I actually got someone! He told me to reserve on-line & it would only be $ 35 for the week b/c the rates were reduced for Nov. I immediately went online, put all the bikes in my «cart» & went to check-out. The bikes were showing $ 55, not $ 35. Thinking I was missing something I called back & got the machine again, left a message. Called a couple of days later again & left another message. I’ve never received one call or e-mail from them. Horribly frustrating– but because their website said«family owned» I wanted to support their small business. My friend made a good point– if something were to happen to one of our bikes while we were using them, we wouldn’t even be able to get ahold of them for help. Very surprised at their horrible service! Ended up e-mailing 30A bike rentals & got an email back in 5 minutes ordered our bikes & they called me within 15 minutes to follow-up on our order. They were great!

They got me a bike when I needed one but they weren’t in the best condition. They were also 10 dollars more expensive than the previous place I rented from which had a better selection. My sons bike had to be retuned halfway through our rental due to a weird sound it was making. My bike was old and the basket kept falling off of it. It did not have a cup holder like the other bikes they delivered to some other people in my party. My bike had a tag along connected to it. It was very wobbly. Every time my son moved, my whole bike would lose control. Also, every time I would turn left or right, my seat would move with it. I had someone come out and look at it. They told me it was fixed but when I got on my bike again, it was still doing the same thing. Needless to say, I can’t wait to have the bikes picked up today!
