Alex Tawney

Truly one of the best make up artists, I can simply sit down and let him do whatever he would like and never be disappointed. His simply amazing! his work is wonderful, and he has an amazing personality.

I got my make up, hair n my photo done by alex tawney back in march 2012 and they were amazing. As being pregnant is hard and over whelming he made me feel beautiful and i was very impress of his work. He also recently done my sons 3^rd birthday photos and i was very happy how he made the time and how patient he was with my son. All my photos he has done for me came out incredible. I defiantly would recommend you to check him out. All i can say is you wont regret it i no i didn’t. THANKS ALEX. Keep up all your good work

If I could gave Alex 100 stars I would!!! I do to know which I’m more impressed with his talent or his incredible work ethic!!! He is truly an amazing make up artist. He’s a good listener and does exactly what’s asked of him with a few little tweaks he’s learned along the way that take your look to a whole new level. He’s extremely accommodating regarding appt times and availability. His work area is extremely organized and clean. He returns phones calls/​texts in a timely fashion. I always leave there looking and feeling beyond beautiful. He truly has a gift and I recommend him on a daily basis to my clients and girlfriends. He is competitively priced as well. I can’t say enough about Alex if you’re looking for someone to do your make up for a special occasion or just a girls night out look no further!!! He is indeed in high demand so try to book ahead. Alex is an absolute gem and I trust him completely. There has never been once I have not received several compliments after he’s done my make up. I don’t wear much makeup on a daily basis and he still manages to keep me looking natural with a full face of flawless make up. Lastly he will apply lashes if waned!!! Give him a try I promise you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Alex Tawney is amazing and very talented!!! He did my make up and hair and I absolutely loved it. Alex Tawney is super talented. I was more than happy with his work on my wedding day. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Not only did he do an amazing job with my hair and make up, he is super easy going, and made me laugh the whole time while he was getting me ready. I will absolutely go back to Alex in the future!

Alex Tawney is by far one of the greatest makeup artists around. Fortunately for those of us in the North Bay, he is a quick phone call and drive away. Alex has done my makeup and hair ever since I was 14 (I am now 21) for all of my major life events — proms, homecomings, senior photos, my high school graduation. The list goes on. He nails it every single time and does a fantastic, precise job. He is very knowledgable, talented, and goes above and beyond my expectations each time.
Alex also helped fix a botched hair cut for me a couple of years back — my hair was cut very unevenly, and of course, there was way too much length that was hacked off and I was depressed and embarrassed. Alex evened it out for me, but also created layers for me in a way that blended in with my hair extensions. The cut was so fantastic that it even looked good without extensions — being someone that doesn’t like short hair on herself, that says a lot!
Not only is Alex’s skill set prime, but he also has a wonderful personality and attitude so getting ready is always fun! He has a wonderful sense of humor, and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. He listens to your requests but also adds his own flair to the desired look you are going for. I highly recommend Alex for any event. You will not be disappointed and you will look amazing afterwards!
