Needed a quick gift idea. This place has a lot of this and that… From china, cookware, framing, art, baby gifts, books, jewelry… Yo name it, they«might» have what your’e looking for. When I walked in, I had no idea what gift to buy… I left with 2 gifts(two different people), and ideas for more! Put in 1 hour for my parking meter, used up only 20 minutes. :)

Really good selection of gifts and stationary, but it’s pretty exensive. Great place for gifts too. Staff very helpful, and if you just tell them you are browsing no sales pitch or pressure. Really liked that.

My fiancé and I came in here last Saturday. I admit I tend to avoid places like this filled with useless collectibles, but I said hey why not give it a go because we were looking for bridal party gifts… What we got instead was a very rude lady who asked US if we needed help in the first place. I said yes, I was looking for ideas for bridal party gifts and she got this really confused scowl on her face like I had insulted one of her many cats. Anyway she just stated that she had no idea if there was anything like that or maybe she could look in this book but it probably wouldn’t be useful. It would have been fine if she just said sorry we don’t really have anything like that, But she made me feel so awkward and crappy inside with her questions and her disdainful looks I feel compelled to warn all other poor souls about stepping foot in this place as their merchandise and engraving is also waaaay over priced compared to competitors. I guess I was not fancy enough to shop here.

I had some of the best customer service I’ve ever had there Monday night. I was looking for a certain size envelope for some invites I was late getting out in the mail. I had been to FIVE stores with a 2 year old on my hip before I got to Corrick’s. By the time I got there it was 6pm and 30 minutes after the store had closed. A gentleman saw me at the door and came over. I was on the verge of tears and he let me in and found my envelopes right away. The store was closed and registers were off so he allowed me to write a check. I will go there FIRST next time. I was so extremely thankful!

My fiancé and I got our wedding invitations from Matthew at corricks and he was absolutely amazing! He was so helpful and was very patient while we were trying to make all our decisions. He had great insight on wording and how to phrase things. He advice was invaluable and I am SO happy we decided to use corricks for our invitations! They are the best by far. Not to mention that they have wine tasting in the store for after you are done with the tiring invitation process!

Corrick’s is the best gift and stationary store ever. Local artists, great cards, the best calendars, and recently a quality frame shop. I could spend hours looking at all they have to offer. It’s the best store in Sonoma County and worth a stop for anyone that hasn’t seen it yet. Thank you Corrick’s for staying true to the original plan. This is a quality store from the past with something to offer even the youngest shopper.

I love this store! Besides selling beautiful glass knick knacks and other finery they have loads of greeting cards, office supplies(folders, envelopes, pens, pencils, rulers, rubber bands, etc etc), art supplies, services for wedding announcements, journals, a few books(on the gift, novelty side — ie an animated book on African animals,) stuffed animals and much more. Shopaholics like me love this store. Most husbands like Mr Rinky won’t. I am sad to hear that some Unilocalers were not greeted or treated with a warm or friendly attitude. That is a deal breaker for me. I’ve been here 3 – 4 times and always been greeted and treated well. Maybe they’re reading the Unilocal review.

After a disappointing trip to Office Depot where they were NOT able to help me with my office supply needs, I came home and googled«stationery supplies» and found Corricks on Unilocal. After reading mostly positive reviews, I phoned Corricks and Jerry answered the phone. She couldn’t have been nicer! She had what I needed and when I walked into the store 40 minutes later, she looked at me and said«Hi Cory!» How she knew it was me, I have no idea. I had a particular issue that not only Jerry, but two other nice folks also assisted with. While most companies realize these days how important customer service is, these folks went above and beyond to help me. Yes, they were nice at Office Depot, but they didn’t have any solution for my needs beyond«sorry, our computers are down so we can’t help you.» REALLY? This was yet another reminder to me how important it is to support local businesses whenever possible. I will now think Corricks and NOT Office Depot for my office supply needs. Thanks Jerry! In the infamous words of our former Governator… «I’ll be back…»

It has a lot of merchandise in the store. Cards, statues, making frames for pictures, so much. When I went in there was not a «Hello, Hi, How are You, or even Can I help you». It’s a very nice store but no employees in the store at the time said nothing even passing by a friendly«Hello» would be sufficient.

I give these guys a good review because my business ordered a self-inking stamp from them — the first time it came out wrong, but they corrected it quickly and shipped it to me at no charge, which shows integrity on their part. This an the fact that they are a local company, which gets way more props in my book than any chain store, I don’t care how cheap they are. Thing is, Corrick’s prices compare to the big chains as well, so going there is a no-brainer.

This is an old time-y store(opened in 1915!) and it still looks like something out of a time capsule which I love. They still have the mentality to buy something nice, made of quality so it lasts forever. This is a good place for gifts and wedding presents. I’ve also found nice stationary here, cards, and paints. At Christmas time they have adorable to die for ornaments. Support local businesses and stop by this lovely store.

Corrick’s is an old-time store crammed full with goodness and community partnerships … it has stationary, a large selection of cards, office supplies, art supplies, wedding particulars, calendars, china, crystal, glass, a NEWFRAMESHOP, a NEWWINETASTINGROOM, and beautiful original artwork displayed in their ARTRAILSGALLERY. Drop by during the holidays! There are all kinds of ornaments and holiday items to tempt you. Buy local!

Fabulous gift selection, great office supply stuff, wonderfully helpful staff, ignore the negative reviews — someone must have been having a bad day. No, this isn’t another Staples. Has a great selection of so many other things. Need a wedding gift, anything you ever dreamed of for truly collectible Christmas decorations, you can find treasures here. Beautiful stationery, custom Christmas cards, this is the go to place for your wedding invitations. Nothing else like it in Santa Rosa, that’s for certain.

The people at Corrick’s are the nicest I have met anywhere! We did business on the same block for 18 years and I shopped there for supplies constantly, very convenient, and Kevin Brown and his wife Jerri, who manage the store, are two of the nicest, kindest humans anywhere. In fact, so are all of the long-timers(low turn-over, tells you something) at the register. Even the HANDYMAN, John, is super nice and friendly to us. They were even all really sweet about having to chase our CAT around their store, whenever she escaped and ran into theirs, which was a LOT! They never acted annoyed, and when one got lost, they were all actually WORRIED! The employees even took the time to visit and care for our cats when we were on vacation, I mean COMEON! Every last one of them is so sweet, and no, they do NOT all belong to one religion, where did THAT come from? They’re just highly professional, and because they work there for a long time(as a PROFESSION), they get to know you, if you’re nice to them. Yes, the store is a treasure trove of all sorts of wonderful objects, but the real treasure at Corrick’s is the people who work there! We miss them!

I hate reviews that get personal or seem to be written as a vendetta, however I had to rate my experience at Corricks. I was shocked by the lack of customer service, arrogance, and down right rudeness that was levied upon me on my first and last visit to Corricks. My wife had purchased me a gift for Christmas and it was improperly gift wrapped, which caused the item to break. I pointed this out to the salesperson who proceeded to belittle me and accuse me of lying, in a voice so that all other customers could hear. I was completely blown away. How does a company stay in business since 1915 by treating customers that way. I did receive my money back after a full blown argument and I will never buy or recommend this store to anyone. I would have told many people of the great customer service I received at Corricks, if I had actually received good customer service, but instead I will tell the world of the worthless service I received.

I’m usually a sucker for stationery stores but my brother and I were on a mission to find a globe. Word on the street was that Corricks sold globes… and they do! After being cheerfully greeted and offered assistance, we price-checked the assortment of globes and maps and narrowed our choice down to something that was just a little over $ 40. It was gorgeous! Though we were on a time limit, I did a quick browse of some of the stationery, gifts, office supplies, and assortment of things that I so desperately WANTED to take home. They carry all sorts of supplies that I used to find in college bookstores or special-order office catalogs and some really neat gifts. I ended up getting a key chain coil(since I’d been on a mission to find a sturdy one). The staff was super helpful, super friendly, and the store is very well maintained. I’m definitely coming back to make a more thorough browse. There is an entrance on both 4th and 5th streets(I find parking a little easier off of 5th).

I purchased wedding invitations for Corricks. They had more variety than any other store I had visited with many, many different price ranges. I really shopped around and I found the best deal at Corricks. I later discovered the most exceptional personable staff I have dealt with in YEARS; seriously. I will never buy invitations anywhere else. This is a place I would send a friend.

That last review was too weird for words. Corrick’s is an old-time fancy-goods store. Back in the day, they stocked office supplies because, well, no one else did. They also stocked reference books. Still do, and while I haven’t bought a book there in years, if I need pens or paper or account books or the like, it is way more convenient than going to Office Depot for a $ 10 or $ 20 purchase. Their china, silver, and fancy gifts are as good as you will find, and they really have no serious competition, if you are into that sort of thing. I have never imagined that they have some sort of religious orientation. Certainly there is nothing at all to make one think so. I’m wondering if they met the manager, Corrick Brown’s son, who is a very friendly person, and in that is similar to a lot of overt Christians you might meet. I guess that weirds some people out.

I go here to pick up overpriced office supplies from time to time since I live and work downtown and hate driving. Corricks has a wide selection of office stuff and other things that I can’t relate to like crystal dinnerware. This usually attracts a pretty old crowd. With its wide cartographic section, this store is also a good place to pick up a detailed map. The people who work here are fine at their job but never overly friendly to me. I suspect they’re all Christians and go to the same church — again, something I cannot relate to.
