I usually just review restaurants but felt compelled to review this store. I probably could own stock in EB for the amount of money I’ve spent over the past twenty years at their stores (starting with their flagship store in San Francisco)…but no longer.
Here’s the deal: the store in the Santa Rosa mall has moved to a much smaller space (right next to Macy’s) but what is the most disappointing aspect is the LACK of QUALITY in the merchandise. All the women’s shirts were thin and made out of very cheap material from overseas … the worst I’ve ever seen and the prices were outrageous considering the terrible quality. Not only was it really cheaply made but the sizes have been shrinking. What was once large or extra-​large is now a joke (and no, i haven’t gotten bigger). Unless they decide to give their customers a better product, sadly it may be the last time for me. Their marketing «credo» amounts to just words, as «excellence» and «quality» are not what’s happening… certainly not with women’s clothing.

Eddie Bauer Rocks! Their clothes are very well made, their employees are helpful, and well trained, and the sales are always good! This is a store that actually gives you personal service, helping you find what you are looking for in a garment. Recently, They restructured their Jeans, and now they are more in line with the younger styles. They have done a great job revamping their image, and have some very cute clothes! The shoes are cute too! online sales for petites, and better selection of jewelery and shoes, leather jackets, etc. Oh– I should also mention that this is also a great place for the guys! My hubby buys most of his clothes here, he has a short inseam so it is hard to find pants in most stores, Eddie Bauer always has Jeans for him-​no alterations needed! If you haven’t tried it, because you think it is a store for old farts, try it! you’ll be surprised!
