Who finds their eye doctor on Unilocal?I do! And I am glad I did. The service is excellent and I didn’t have to wait at all. I will definitely be a repeat client. Now I need to find a family doctor since I am dropping Kaiser.

I used to go to a place in Larkfield, but I felt that they just wanted to sell glasses as opposed to actual eye care. This place is much closer to work, so I can just walk there.
I went for the Opto Map — so you don’t have to dilate. So worth it! You pay an extra few bucks more (but it’s only once a year) and you don’t spend the rest of your day all messed up. I have dark eyes so the doctors always had to use more and it would last so long.
The visit was quick and to the point. You get to spend some quality time with the doctor! At the end, I got the prescription to make glasses elsewhere. I feel this doctor is much more trustworthy than my last one. Rivals my favorite, now retired, optometrist. I do wish the parking situation is better, for others.

Attempted to get my glasses closer to home, but was unable to ever get there when they were open. I was excited about Empire’s selection, with name brands such as Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Versace, and more.
Our Optical assistant was friendly, attentive, and helpful, showing me options in other colours and shapes.
It took me awhile to narrow down my choices because honestly, with everything they had, I swear I saw something I thought I couldn’t live with every time I turned around.
It was easy to order the frames I wanted with the lenses I needed, and they came in ready for me in less than two weeks. Unfortunately one of my pair’s lenses was ground incorrectly, and I had to take them back. My optometrist assistant was gracious to have them sent back and remade for me, and when I got them back, they were perfect.
The one negative star is for the parking, which can be really challenging and requires you to pay even if you’re just stopping to drop something off. Also the hours are incredibly hard to work with, as they only have one day a week open past 5 and no hours open on weekends. Other than that, professional, courteous service, and outstanding product.

I’m only giving four stars because of the hours of operation. Everything else is great and no complaints. I feel like I go to a very honest place.

I’m a big fan of Dr. Jones’ office. Dr. Jones is great, and the staff are very helpful. I had a problem with my insurance once and they worked with me to get it right. They also worked (very patiently) with me on my last visit to find frames that fit and looked good. Great news, my wife doesn’t hate them! Thanks!

Fast, friendly, and a great selection. Most importantly, Empire is trustworthy.
I had gone to Lens Crafters in the past where I was told I had a predisposition for macular degeneration and pitched expensive supplements. I related this to Dr. Diez who reviewed the evidence and decided that it was a BS diagnosis made in an attempt to squeeze me for more money.
It feels great to be taken care of.

I just sent my assistant over because she was afraid as her eye was turning pink and she was very concerned. Dr. Jones took great care of her, quickly daignosed the inflammation and saved her a trip to the ER which would have cost a couple thousand, not to mention that most ER docs are quick to prescribe antibiotics, even in cases of non bacterial infections, for which anti-​biotics are made for. Thank you Dr. Jones for helping my assistant, without her, its difficult for me to run my business.

Nice. I lost a screw from my frames this morning at the gym. Stopped by Empire and they replaced/​fixed it within minutes — more like seconds, really — and at no charge. Thanks, y’all.

Dr. Jones and his staff are great.
Just picked up my new eyeglasses and rx sunglassess and they fit perfectly, my headaches are finally gone.

While Dr. Jones is professionally competent, he is not interested in concerns about his front office. They totally messed up my lenses more than once.
