Mark West stables runs a solid horse lesson experience. Jennifer is a great teacher for young riders. There are many horses boarded there and I am impressed with the constant cleaning that the staff is doing. With indoor and outdoor arenas lessons can take place at any time. And even in the hot summer months the weather seems milder at the stables, quite comfortable for 10 AM lessons even on the hottest days. Santa Rosans are lucky to have such a professional facility.

Mark West Stables is a wonderful place for the beginner to start a riding career or the more advanced to hone their skills. Virginie and Megan are patient and skilled teachers and keep it all fun. The horses are extremely well cared for and very happy in their surroundings. The barn atmosphere is very «family like» and welcoming. They run an adorable pony camp every summer and also keep up the lessons for the more advanced crew who compete at the A shows. If you love horses, this is the place you want to be!!!
