I called Mike after he was recommended for weekend jobs by Asiens Appliance. He came out and told me my fridge, which was not cooling, was not worth fixing because the compressors did not last. After asking some questions it turned out that my compressor was not getting current. So, what part was failing? He told me it could be several things, but I would end up paying too much to fix it. I did some online searching to find that the main circuit board on my model went out quite often with those exact symptoms. I later found out that the problem was so widespread that the TeeVax repairman carries 2 of those exact boards on his truck. After my online research, I called Mike and told him that GE was sending me a board and I was going to try it. At that point, he let me know that when he was out at my house, he did not replace the connections into the compressor so the unit would not work even after I replaced the board. He offered to come out and plug them in for free after I got the board in, which was decent, but I think he should have put the machine back the way he found it, or told me at the time that he disabled it. He is a very nice guy, and is available 7 days a week, but may not solve your problem.

Michael was a referral from my plumber since my issue was with the pilot light/appliance and not the gas line. I was surprised when Michael called and asked if he could come out on Sunday.(Such a relief not having to coordinate being home during the week.) When he had an earlier time open up that day, he called and was over within 20 minutes. He immediately diagnosed my problem and replaced my oven ignitor. Mike was friendly, fast and knowledgeable. We are in the middle of a remodel and he also offered some great insights on the pros and cons of different water heater options. I appreciate good referrals and now have Michael on my short list of people to call for future needs and projects.

I was referred to Michael S. Little by Asiens Appliance last year and scheduled to have my dryer looked at after it stopped heating up. Michael came out and looked at my dryer, and during a very candid moment, Michael told me he could repair my dryer, but it would be cheaper to just go out and buy a new one. Michael then began to give me an appliance education telling me what to stay away from and how to get the most bang for my buck. Michael apologized knowing the whole situation was going to cost me more money than just a simple repair, and he even cut his service fee in half just for showing up to diagnose the problem to ease the pain. I really appreciate the honesty as he was just trying to save me money. Considering his honesty was at a financial loss to his bottom line, I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get an honest opinion from someone who will give it to you straight. The only reason I did not give him a higher rating, is because he did not fix my dryer so I cannot speak to the quality of his work.
