This company is as good as it gets and in the home service business and that’s saying a whole lot. If i I could give them 10 stars, I would. We had a quite a large ticket job for a homeowner – installing three new Milgard sliding doors in an older house.
For business choices, consumers have the big box stores to choose from and smaller businesses. We started at the big box store and were disappointed on their dearth of knowledge. Not much help, could care less and no clear idea of what the differences between the door brands were. We investigated two smaller glass and door places in Santa Rosa. Of the two, Perkins was clear, experienced and beat the competitor’s quote.
They called to remind us of the appointment, got there on time every day and the best part – the three installers were so professional, courteous and skilled, it just blew us away. I would go back here for every glass, door or window need I had. Perfect business, price and work well done.

Have a kid that broke on of your windows out of an exterior door? It has now happened to me twice, and the great guys down at Perkins allowed me to drop the door off at the shop, and replaced the pane quickly so that the door could be hung again at home just a few hours later. This business is the best! Very nice guy, and prices are unbelievable compared to other companies I called in the area. I got a quote of $ 250 from one company (B&L) to come to my home to install new rollers (which we already had) on a sliding glass door. Another company, 2 towns away quoted @ $ 150 to 180.
Perkins quoted me $ 80! I ended up able to take the door to him and he charged me a whopping $ 10! It’s installed and rolls and locks like new. Thanks Perkins!
