Round Table Pizza

They ended up showing up to my door with the pizza 50 minutes after I hung up on them. They said it was a cash order. I never even completed the order after they told me I was outside of delivery distance. Why did they not call me back after I hung up if they were going to make the pizza and try to deliver it? They never confirmed the order or even asked me what size I wanted. Bad business people, bad manager.

This review concerns a medium vegetarian pizza on the «skinny» crust. The pizza crust was soggy. Often with veggie pizzas this is because they do not sauté the veggies before placing them on the pizza to cook. As a result, the veggies release their water onto the pizza directly rendering it soggy.

Ordered a large pizza, my husband picked it up. It was ½ Maui Zowie & ½ King Arthurs combination. It was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. We don’t order pizza a lot so this was a real treat. Great job.

This place is terrible. The staff is pretty much clueless. I phoned in an order and when I got there, they said they gave it to another customer. The kid then had the balls tho say I can give you 10% off for the mess up but it’s going to take another 40 minutes. Really? It should be free. If I have to wait. I just got a refund and left. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else. They need new management.

It’s round table if you had it once you know how it is.

The pizza would be tasty if it weren’t for the stale, rancid fat taste from the base.
Ugh go elsewhere

Went here a couple weeks back and I came in maybe 15 minutes before they closed. The manager first didn’t want to serve me and was rude. She eventually took my order. Then as I was waiting, she trash talked me thinking I had left the area/​room. When she saw me she apologized but it still pissed me off. Good pizza but bad customer service. The rest of the employees seem to just be messing around the entire time until I caught the manager trash talking me to the employees. Then they all seemed to pretend to work and got really awkward. Terrible experience I won’t forget for a long time.

My experience with this place has always been sketchy, but the last time I was in there it was so bad I left without eating a thing. Here’s what happened.
It was around 9pm and they close at 10pm so I knew I might have some issues. I’ve worked in the restaurant business my whole life (Pizza and Pasta) and I had just got off of work at another restaurant and I was hungry, tired and I wanted some pizza, and they had a salad bar so I was looking forward to a fresh salad and some pie.
When we got in there I noticed one of the help was breaking down the salad bar, which was my first issue. You serve till 10 if you’re open till 10, that’s just simple logic! Sure everybody wants to get out of work early but when the public relies on you for a service, jumping the gun is one of the biggest customer service mistakes any business can make
Anyway the hostess just stands there like I don’t exist, and I’m like… we would like to sit and eat? She says, «Well we are breaking down the salad bar now», and I’m like…“The sign says you’re open till 10, why don’t you say salad bar closes at 9pm underneath that?”. She’s like «Well we’re sorry». Knowing what it’s like in a restaurant if they are breaking down the salad bar they are probably cleaning up the kitchen, so I asked «Can we still get pizza at least?» She says, «Oh sure but we just took apart the soda machine too.» That’s not so bad but then I looked over at the waitress who would be serving us and she just frowns and rolls her eyes like she can’t be bothered. Then I said…“You know what, we will just order to go.”.
I place my order and then when I give her my card there’s some problem with it and it won’t swipe although it’s a new card, and I suddenly got a bad feeling in my gut. Far be it for me and my spouse to want a quality meal served with appreciation from Round Table, I suddenly thought that because we’re putting these kids out, our pizza is probably going to have spit in it or worse, so I said…“You know what, just forget it, I’m really not hungry at this point.” Then we left.
If you want to know what I think of their food, it’s «okay». I ordered a veggie pizza from them once that was so water logged from all the tomatoes it was almost inedible. Other pizza I’ve had was passable. It goes without saying I’ve had way better pizza at Little Ceasars. But combined with the service makes me shivver anytime I think about eating there again.
The popularity of Round Table has to be a Santa Rosa thing, and their following is probably based on people who grew up eating their food, and hold to fond memories even while they’re eating crap or being ignored by the staff. It was probably much better back in the day and that’s what keeps them going now.
I have eaten at one other location which was satisfactory, but I live very close to this location and because of that I travel by it regularly, and more often than not I smell burned pizza coming from their part of the mall. Obviously the level of competence of this staff is questionable, if you can’t keep from burning a fricken pizza every other day, led alone take some pride in what you do and appreciate your customers.
I think it would benefit the company if they reviewed the performance of their staff at this location and take a closer look at their food losses and maybe even portion controls.

rudest staff I have ever encountered @ a Round Table Pizza.
They refuse to honor the Unilocal-​check in offer for free bread sticks with purchase of a pizza.
Numerous tables not cleaned while employees sit idly by talking to each other.
thank god the pizzas are good though, I would only order take out from them.

I love this place! The Pizza is the best I’ve EVER had from any pizza place, and I always get it really fast, like in 14 or 16 minutes. Usually I have to wait 20 minutes or more anywhere else. I also really like the staff, they are very funny to listen to and very friendly. I wish they had maybe more desserts though, something with chocolate.
My only real complaint is that there are almost always a bunch of loud screaming kids running around. They crawl around on the floor and sit in the areas where people walk to get to and from the tables. Multiple times I have almost tripped over either a child or a ball or had a ball hit me in the chest. I know that its not the restaurant’s fault but I wish they would do something about that, like asking the parents to control their kids. Its Round Table, not Chucky Cheese!

Such a HORRIBLE experience last night for my son’s birthday party. I reserved the banquet room way in advance. I called in early to pre-​order the pizza’s so everything would be ready right as my guests arrived. I get there, order my drinks and request the remote for the tv so we could put the football game on while the kids ran around and played. 15 – 20 minutes pass, no drinks, no pizza, no remote, I walk out and ask for the drinks and I get a snappy response «do you have your reciept?» «umm hello, I ordered these 20 minutes ago you should have had them out by now I shouldn’t have to fetch my reciept, there was NO one there when I ordered my drinks!» Finally get the drinks but still no remote, back to the front I go, «OPPSS sorry, we forgot» Come to find out someone stole the remote and we had to use the up and down arrows on the cable box, do you know how many stations Direct TV has to offer! 30 minutes. where is my pizza, should have already been ready, do I have to go and walk the pizza to my party as well! Finally pizza and plates. Not once did anyone come in to check on us, no trash removed, no pitchers refilled, I had to do everything myself. And don’t think about asking for a knife to cut your cake because you’ll be told to use a butter knife! Finally presents opened, cake eaten, time to pay. My mother and I split the cost of the meal, it only took the MANAGER and staff 15 minutes how to split it, not to mention they didn’t really split it correctly because they didn’t know why the computer was $ 1.58 short? I live around the corner from this place and my take out orders have always been easy. I think I’ll take the extra 10 minutes to drive to the roundtable in Montgomery Village, I do not want to see the faces of these employees AGAIN!

Staff was good, restaurant needs an interior remodel. Food was very good. Overall very pleased with my experience.

Stay away do not go here. They are a freaking joke. Really bad. THey take 40mins to think about an order. Then your lucky if you get your order.
Pizza is also crap here.

I order pizza from here all the time. I have nothing bad to say about this location. They have great delivery time and get the order right. The pizza is always great and I recommend to anyone.

Domino’s with better salad bar. Why would you come here? Why did I come here? Office lunch for a retiring co-​worker. Would I come here again? Are you kidding?
