I thought this was an awesome place, I found a great leather love seat here for 75 $ on sale. So I keep going back. Haven’t found a good thing yet. Disappointing.

I used to find great deals on furniture, framed art, etc. Now everything is way overpriced. A table that should be $ 15 is $ 65. There was a time when those who were in need could get reasonably priced, good quality clothing and housewares. Those days are gone. They charge $ 15 for a used Pyrex bowl. I think they have lost sight of their original goal.

Used to be my «go to» for used furniture, shoes, and odds and ends for the house. Now, it’s more like upscale consignment. Used couch for nearly $ 300? Old typewriter for $ 100? End table for $ 60? Rusty metal plant stand for $ 40? Dollar store glasses for $ 3? I jotted down various items from the store earlier today, came home and googled the resale price if I went to a boutique website, and lo and behold, the prices are similar. While The Army gives its profits to good causes, why can’t it help its community by keeping prices below«pricey»? And this new upscale image, complete with smaller and fewer store specials, makes me think it’s cheaper to go to Target or Walmart or Kmart or the freebie ads on Craigslist for my household needs. Corporate mindset(and the idea of getting as much $$ as possible from clients) should be tossed out. I loved this store a year ago. Now? After today, I will go elsewhere.

Great quality thrift store finds here! I live rather close by and go often. Sometimes I don’t come out with anything, but more often than not I leave with an item that probably cost more than $ 50 new and is in great(if not mint) condition. A great place for designer clothing and shoes. Well organized and super friendly staff. They also pretty much always have sales going on so you’ll get a hefty discount at the register. Happy thrifting!

I haunt all the local thrift shops for vinyl Lp records. I’ve been here several times with varied results. Have never scored clean, excellent condition vinyl here. Shop is small, kind’a cruddy. Shopping for designer label clothes is a no-go here. Compared to the numerous Goodwill shops scattered throughout Sonoma county, this Salvation Army store is inferior.

A great, great thrift store. Racks and racks of clothes, lots of other knick knacks, and all at great prices. Most days are usually at least 40% off the already low marked price, so the prices get even better. Not a lot in the way of toys, but lots of other options. Happy hunting!

My very favorite thrift store of all time. Extremely clean, clothes are organized by color! The help is super nice, prices are good,(50% most of the time!) and many donations still have the original price tags on them. I love this place :-)

Horribly overpriced for gadgets or electronic things(they clearly have no idea what they’re doing with most of this stuff). OK for clothes. The white board tells you what’s on sale, and even then it’s not a given. Some of the clerks are quite friendly, some are standoffish. Mixed bag. I’ll give Salvation Army one extra star up for NOT having their own ebay site like Goodwill has done. You can still occasionally find a cool item here for cheap. The toy selection here is virtually nil, though, and there’s almost never any games or video game items.

Wow — a clerk came right up beside me while I was looking at pants, said«What is going on?!» and started shoving the pants on the rack toward me — I ignored her. Then she went around and did it on the other side of me, then went around and did it right behind me and then right across from where I was looking. Wow! I finally said I need to move the pants in order to look at them and asked if she could not do that right where I was looking, and she snipped«just put them back when you’re done — you’re bunching them up.» A fellow customer came up to me right after and commiserated, which I greatly appreciated because I was getting a little freaked out. I stopped looking at pants because that little gal was scary, and decided to go find a mirror to try on some sweaters and that same little clerk was right on my tail, telling me the rules for trying on in the dressing room. I told her I was just going to try on some sweaters by the mirror and didn’t need the dressing room. She went away and ANOTHER fellow customer came up to me and said she couldn’t believe how rude that clerk was being to me, that you don’t harass the customer in retail. The clerk came right back, was confrontational and asked if there was a problem. Unbelievable. We tried to ignore her. She hovered while I tried on sweaters and asked if I was done with them. I told her I didn’t know yet. WOWSA! I realized by this time that I wasn’t going to be left alone to shop, so left, buying only a pair of hiking boots I’d found and already tried on(hah! got one by that lady!) I had spent an hour looking at clothes and had picked out some really nice ones, and would have probably spent $ 100 but instead spent only $ 3. Plus, I won’t be going back because my heart will start pounding just driving by. I mentioned this harassment to the male clerk and he said I could lodge a formal complaint. I asked how I would identify the gal, and he said she is the store manager! How in the heck did she get that job? Will be calling headquarters to complain about that little nazi. Shop at your own risk, tiptoe, don’t move any clothes around, and don’t piss off the manager!

Nice and clean! Seriously!!! The store is organized pretty well. The store offers really nice clothes(brand names & clean, too). The prices are kind of high, but I happened to hit the store on a 50% off women’s clothing sale day. I got 3 skirts(2 like new!!! Christopher & Banks and 1 Sundance denim skirt that was in really nice condition, too!). I got all 3 skirts for under $ 12. I wish I would have had more time as I didn’t even get to the tops & skirts section. Also, the shoes are all in pretty good condition. I tried on a super cute pair of Italian made leather sandals that were priced for $ 6(Like-new condition) it was unfortunate that the sandals were 1 size to small!!! Will definitely be back.

Although this thrift store is small, it has a lot of good buys. My dad’s been going there for a long time and he’s bought lots of stuff that we use around the house and few clothes. I’ve never bought clothes there, but I have bought decorations for the bathroom and vases. The best thing I found was red pumps in excellent condition for $ 10; afterwards I found out that the shoes are $ 400 in retail! I would try this place out. They have 50% off sales on Saturdays sometimes.
