Dr. Zechowy comes across as very professional and caring, and knowledgeable in his field of expertise. He knew exactly what needed to be done, and his skill with the procedure was clearly evident. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my family, friends or anyone needing an ear, nose and throat doctor.

Too bad there’s not a lower grade I can give this UNETHICALQUACK. He tried to put tubes in my in his office, and just about sent me to the Emergency Room due to the pain he inflicted, yet didn’t know how to deal with. He ‘watched’ as I did the«worm» for 5 minutes, and then told me I would need to be put to sleep in TWOWEEKS. The tubes didn’t work, actually making my right ear worse than the two, but, my right ear wasn’t ever the problem. It was my LEFTEAR I was seeing him for. Finally, after 3 months, he diagnosed me with«Bad Ears». yes, just bad ears. Imagine that. But, here’s the«unethical» part. As I was leaving the examination room I walked past his office as usual, I could both see, and hear him doing dictation at his desk concerning me. I could hear him plainly stating:. .. «patient has Eustachian Tube Dysfunction.. . So, not thinking much of it, I went home and looked it up. Through trial n error, I found it. i don’t wish this on anyone. Understand, he DOESNOT know how to treat it, but he sure did do a dilly of a job on me, again, making me worse. His manner? What manner. He’s Monotoned, and Cold. Bottom line, instead of stringing me along, he should’ve told me he didn’t know what he was doing. He especially shouldn’t have told me that I just have«Bad Ears» and would have to live with it. NOONE can live with this. A person would end up taking their own life having this crap, he should know that. Being both uninformed, and never formally being informed that I have ETD. .. go find another Doctor. When I learned of my condition while walking by his office, I sure did. For all you middle-aged out there: there are only 3 doctors in this country who know how to treat this nightmare of a condition. If you have it, read again what I just posted concerning this Doctor because, he’s not the Lone Ranger. If you ever get a sudden earache that’s very intense then goes away just as suddenly as it came, yet, you start developing a ‘high-altitude’ pressure-like problem in one or both of your ears almost immediately thereafter, look into: Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. the Docs are in Conn., Fort Worth Tx., and Boston Mass. They put a balloon in your ear just like they would your heart. It opens the tube relieving the pressure. They have been doing this in the U.K. for decades now with great results. Some of us were born with small Eustachian Tubes, and this is the result later on in life.
