This is the perfect venue for a country style wedding. At first I was a little concerned as there are several horses and horse stalls as you drive up the driveway. I thought it would be a stinky wedding for sure, But I couldn’t smell the horses. There’s a cute little lake and a bunch of willow trees for shade that made for a very pleasant setting. And what country wedding would be complete without several plastic pink flamingos drinking from the pond. My only complaint is that the seating area for the ceremony is directly in the sun, so we got nice and stinky BEFORE everyone was too drunk to care. The area for the reception is covered and has a nice dance floor. The bar and BBQ are situated perfectly, with a little grassy area for kids to play on in between. The bouncy house was a nice touch too, but I don’t know if that comes with the venue or if that was something the wedding party brought with them. Pro tip: bring sun block!

We originally booked this place for our wedding, loving the beautiful gardens and horsey setting. The people were very nice. We are having a 200 guest wedding, and this could accommodate it. After leaving a $ 300 deposit, and an additional $ 700 I began planning. They only let you have the place from 1−9pm(with music off, bar closed and cleaning to begin(**cleaning to be done by yoursel) at 8pm). They would let us come in an hour earlier(for an additional fee) to set up. With such a big wedding, and wanting everything to be what I had imagined I began to feel like this place was not going to be the one for us. A party ending at 8pm? And then we have to clean up ourselves. We called to cancel our reservations(A YEARINADVANCE). We knew we wouldn’t get our $ 300 deposit back. They did refund us the $ 700 payment we had made, but the man was so incredibly rude to my fiancé, we would not recommend them to anyone. If they had been nicer about the cancellation(again, a YEARINADVANCE) they would of been a place we could recommend to our friends. Not now. They made an easy $ 300 off us, which I’m sure is what that gentleman charges a month for his crappy boarding facility he has for his horses. After reading other Unilocal reviews, and how people were treated, I am glad I have chosen a different venue. No one deserves to be treated poorly on their wedding day!
