I just had a Swedish massage, lavender scrub, and scalp massage with Lucy. She was absolutely wonderful. No chit chat, just super efficient and professional. Her work was just heavenly! Thanks Lucy!

A wonderful afternoon and a lovely day spa. it was everything I hoped it would be and the services were top notch. the pool area left a lot to be desired but they are in the process of building a new one. I will definitely go back.

I have received a few massages from the Spa at the Casino. It has always been a pleasant experience. Customer service is excellent, therapists are amazing, and love the access to pool and sauna. It is the best when I can treat myself here.

I had a pedicure and manicure with Christina at the spa. She is the best manicurist I have ever been to. She is gentle, sweet, and makes you feel very comfortable. My pedicure and manicure last much longer than anywhere else I have gone. I am definitely coming back to see her. The girls at the front desk are very professional and knowledgeable. If you are in the area, please see Christina for your manicure/pedicure.

I’m a bit embarrassed to admit that this was the first spa I have ever been to, but also happy to admit that it was an amazing experience! I wish I hadn’t gone because now I’m hooked on massages! I was in Solvang for a bachelorette party and the entire day of Friday was devoted to pampering ourselves at the spa. I went all out and received a full body massage, head neck and shoulder massage as well as a facial. They were all so lovely, I could not tell you what my favorite was, but absolutely worth the $ 250 it cost me! ;] The spa itself is very nice and extremely clean. The attendants are constantly shuffling through the facility making sure that the towels are restocked and the vanity clean. The women’s locker room is equipped with two full showers, one good sized steam room and a personal locker for everyone. You are provided with the softest robe and slide on sandals to walk around in. The relaxing waiting room is to die for. There are the most comfortable lay out sofas and delicious teas and trail mix to munch on. The water fountain sets the mood for ultimate relaxation and I could have taken a full day nap there. The staff was really friendly and put up quite well with our group of 12 women who were constantly changing their minds on what services they wanted to get done. Overall, great experience and I would definitely go back if I was in the area again!

Had a pedicure at the spa and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and I was very happy with the way Amy did my toes. Not rushed and so relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

For me, this is really a mixed bag. If I were going to review The Spa at Chumash solely on the customer service at the front desk, the cleanliness of the spa itself and the massages I’ve gotten, then this would probably be a four or five star review. Really, the entire spa is small but nicely laid out. The locker and steam room area is very clean and they have thought of all the basics like water bottles, toiletries to help you get ready to go back out into the world, etc. Their waiting room area is cute and cozy, with nice music and some little snacks and tea. The massages I’ve gotten have been very thorough and the technicians have been very knowledgeable about the body. I left feeling like I had relaxed muscles, not just like someone had rubbed lotion on me. The worst part of the spa is really the salon area. I’ve tried getting a manicure and pedicure twice and both times the tech has been way too rough, basically ruined my cuticles by cutting way too much off(and cutting INTO them vertically at the same time.) She started to use an unsanitized cuticle nipper on me, so I worried but then she switched to the«right one.» Ugh. She was apologetic but I was so upset by it, that it was very stressful. The polish job was just as unprofessional, with polish splashed all over my skin and bubbling up as it dried. Just not a good job, technically. Also, the first time I went, some kind of fight was going on between two of the techs and you could cut the tension in the air with a knife. That’s not relaxing OR professional to witness. The second time, I listened to one of the techs complain to her client about another employee and a manager. It just seems like they are unhappy there and that kind of unprofessionalism doesn’t belong in the public eye, especially in a place where you’re trying to relax.

I love my experiences at the Spa At Chumash Casino Resort. Starting with the friendly staff that takes my requests for service, most recently Crystal to Amy who is the greatest nail technician in the Santa Ynez Valley. I actually live in Santa Ynez and work as an Innkeeper with one day off a week… One day each month I treat myself to «Spa Day» at the resort. I have experienced their VIP package which is to die for, massage from Armando but most recently have only had time for nails and toes. I went to Amy originally in October as my toes had begun to crack from the dryness here in the high desert and with some love and care and excellent advice, we got that condition cleared up and now I see her once a month for a Deluxe Shellac manicure and a Peppermint Pedicure. She does a fantastic job and the anti-gravity chair and view of the casino entrance are priceless… you can see out but the guests can’t see in and the flowers and people watching is fantastic. I would highly recommend services from the Spa and ask for Amy for nails fingers and toes. You will enjoy the pampering.

I LOVED my experience at the Chumash Spa. I have been there twice and enjoyed both visits. MOst recently, I had a scrub, massage and facial. The masseur, whose name escapes me was excellent. He was professional, knowledgable and answered my questions thoroughly. The scrub service can be interesting as there is little covering you during the treatment, but he made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The facial by Crystal was also very relaxing. Their pool always seems to be shady, but I would definitely return for spa services and to use the sauna and jacuzzi. Use the free valet as it is next to the Spa entrance.

One of the best, if not the best, spa in the Santa Barbara area. Technicians are very professional. I have had facials and massage here several times. The service from the appointment to departure is excellent. They make every effort to make it an enjoyable experience. They used to have a monthly special which, I hope, they will bring back.

I came here and got the VIP package which is the 50 min. body massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure; all together it’s 4 hours… The cost was $ 265. If I had to do over I would do the 80 min massage and do different add-on’s… The facial was nice but I broke out afterwards, I have sensitive skin & know better than to use other products, now I’m paying the price! The manicure and pedicure were fine, could’ve been a little more relaxing if the other client wasn’t so chatty. The end result of the mani/pedi is no better than your local nail shop, however, the enjoyable part is that you are reserved for an entire hour so they can take their time & you don’t feel rushed so they can get to their next client. The body massage was great, but as always the 50 minutes flies by so I’d go with the 80 min instead. The facilities are nice and well kept… They did ask for a credit card to reserve my appointment.

Great customer service! Very attentive. Massage therapy was wonderful. The therapist checked in with me but, wasn’t chatty either. It was wonderful! I was able to relax after my spa treatment in their quiet room and go for a swim.

Came here for a couples massage. Probably one of the top 3 massages I’ve ever had in my life! I don’t remember my masseuses name, but he was a Hispanic male gentleman. They had such nice touches like hot towels that just made the massage that much better

The Spa is set in the hotel, which makes it most accessible for hotel guests. There are not many other options for a Day Spa in the Santa Ynez Valley, unless you drive to Santa Barbara or Santa Maria. As far a spas go, this is small and intimate. The prices are comprable to the major day spas I have been to in LA and Orange County. The peak season is summer, so I did notice that it was a bit slow in the spa. I wanted an AM appointment, so the massage therapist generously came in an hour early to accomodate me(greatly appreciated). I received a 80 minute full body massage from Armando. He was AMAZING. This massage was better than any I have received at any Burke WIllimas location and better than that majority of massages I have received at Amadeus. He hinds are very strong and he really got into the muscles. The massage was worth every penny, and I was surprised to get such great service at a little spa at a Indian Reservation Casino Resort. I would recommend this, and will definitely return when I am in the area. The spa is small, but really quaint. The full body massage is highly recommended. If you are interested, ask for Armando!
