Great biker hangout! Awesome riding to and from here. The brews are cold, waitresses friendly and atmosphere is laid back. Always a ton of cool scoots to check out

A great place to ride to get away from it all. The rustic décor is fitting for an ol’ time kind of place. Just a great place to stop and take a break from your day ride. Comfortable, laid back, easy and relaxing inside or outside.

Stopped by on a rainy weekend while I was in the area. Was looking for a bite to eat and maybe a cold beverage. The Hideout was just what the Dr. ordered. I had a bowl of the steak chili and a bottle of suds. The owner, Drew, was great. He told me that they were usually a bit busier, but today it was full of the locals that treated me like one of their own. I bet on a sunny weekend day it is packed with riders and regular folks looking for a rest stop as they are enjoying their back country drives. This place is «Cash Only», so bring it with you, and not really a place for kids. Great atmosphere to just sit back, laugh and enjoy the conversation as you teak a break from the road. Will be back every time I am close by. Thanks again for lunch Drew!

Cool little spot hidden in the mountains by palomar. A definite stop for all bikers in the area. Check it out next time you are on a ride.

My husband and I love riding to this bar. They always make you feel like family. The staff is amazing and super friendly. Everything I’ve tried on the menu is delicious. We are actually headed up there today and it reminded me to make a review!

The Hideout isnt technically a biker bar. It may want to be, but its too friendly. Always a lot of nice motorcycles parked outside. Taking a walk and looking at the bikes is like being at a show. The beers are cheap and cold. Ive seen some food being served, but I’ve never tried it. You can sit in the small bar inside, or sit on straw bales outside. If you dont know where it at you may miss it. Unless you have navigation on your ride, keep an eye out for it.

What a great find! We stopped here after a camping trip and were greeted with friendly and quick service. We ordered the cheese burger and fries, both were delicious. We saw other people order homemade chili and that looked great as well. We definitively stop here again. Just be prepared as it is a cash only bar.

Loved stopping in here for an ice cold beer and some chili cheese fires. I will definitely be back from some steak chili. Tasted extra good since there was a cool crisp to the air. It a beautiful ride up to Lake Henshaw and stopping at the Hideout is something to look forward to. Lots awesome bikes and people from all walks to life. I believe they are only open Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. And the bar is cash only.

Great place to stop by and have a beer. Tried their burger and fries and I have to say, not too shabby. Perfect place to cruise your bike to. I rode the loop and I found this place just in time. Bring cash because no plastic accepted here. Bar tenders are great looking.

This is a cool little place in the middle of some great riding country. Nearby, you have Mount Palomar, the 78, the 76, the Borrego desert, Julian… all sorts of excellent riding opportunities for motorcycle enthusiasts. If you’re scared because you don’t ride a Hawg, or you don’t want to go mano a mano with a group of Mongols, well, let me put your fears to rest. This place is welcoming to all. No worries, you’ll fit right in. Just like the diversitty of riders inside, there are myriad bikes outside(feel free to walk down the line and admire the variety of HDs, sport bikes, cruisers, rat bikes, dual sporties and Goldwings.(OK, maybe not Goldwings…) It can get loud inside and out. There is often a live band outside and classic rock inside. The waitresses are hot and cool. You’ll get what you need, no worries. Pro Tip: The riding area is made for bikes so please drink responsibly if you stop by for a cold one. This stretch of road sees more than its share of abulances throughout the season… RIP Sadie. You were way to young and way too cool to leave us.

Stopped by the Hideout this weekend to listen to a really good band I saw there last year but they weren’t playing. I did enjoy myself last year when I stopped by. The. bartenders are nice and the hamburgers are pretty good. The crowd is a little older but if your just looking to go ride the hills and grab a burger and beer, then this place is ok for a quick stop.

Had a good time here. Fun folks and down to earth. No issue. .. cars park down the road. Food is okay but atmosphere is biker cool. Why can I not search this place on Google Maps however. Maybe owner could fix that…

We were in and out quick on a Poker Run on the Harley, but what I saw and dealt with was just okay! The place was not nicely decorated, or made to look divey. The bathroom was clean and the bar was too! The pictures around the place are a little much and not really making the place look any better! I am sure we will be back again on another ride and I will have to see if they have good drinks to make up for the atmosphere!

Great place to stop for lunch after a nice ride! Hubby had the burger and fries and loved it; I had the pulled pork bbq and fries, it was really good, but I probably should have asked for a little extra bbq sauce, but that’s just how I like my bbq. There were about 3 – 4 well behaved dogs hangin’ around; not sure who they belonged to, but were very friendly :)

stopped by this place after borrego springs. Really neat place to stop by to rest after a long ride. I like how it’s in the middle of nowhere and has other riders. Different kind of people, different kinds of bikes. It was awesome. I would definately stop by here again when i past by Santa Ysabel.

Great Stop-ortunity just for the incredible variety of bikes parked outside. Excellent service from the friendly, pretty ladies. Great staff! Outstanding flame broiled burger and seasoned fries. Pulled pork looked good. Abundant beers & bottomless iced tea. A must see.

Our biker group always stops by for drinks and really good burgers. Cash only so bring some. Beautiful ride getting there on Hwy 76 past Lake Henshaw. They are located in the woods which is really nice too. Staff there are the best. Fun and friendly.
