I absolutely love this place. My boyfriend and I decided to try this place while camping at Camp Cuyamaca. We got the margherita pizza with canadian bacon and the julian hard cider black and blue. Everything was bomb! Service was very good too. The lady with short hair was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back when we are around the area!

They offer inside and outdoor seating, They accommodate your pet dogs if you bring them with a bowl of cold water. The pizza is very healthy! The crust is thin and you can select healthy toppings.

Not great. The atmosphere outside was nice. The soup of the day was pretty good, the pizza was OK, but the flavor wasn’t great. Where they really blew it was selling a spicy sausage link as a regular hot dog. That wasn’t great for my six-year-old.

After a long day hiking and discussing the geology of San Diego county, pizza and beer were a great idea. This was my first visit to Wynola’s Pizza and it was fabulous. The staff were friendly and they went out of their way to make sure that our dinning experience was stress free. We were a large party of at lest fifteen and everyone ordered their own thing. As the food started coming out to the table it was a fee for all with everyone trying the various pizzas. Hands down the thin crust style of Wynola’s was some of the best pizza that I’ve ever had. Along with a great SD local brew I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end a long day. I’m in Julian routinely hiking and I’m going to be adding Wynola’s to my list of must stop locations.

My then 12 year old says this is the best pizza he’s every had. I went again yesterday and he’s pretty correct. When I realIzed it was only 60 miles from my home, I wondered why it took me three years to get back up here. Beside the pizza, the home-made soft drinks are really something, so many unique flavors and probably the best fountain cola I’ve ever tasted, probably in the style of the original Wynola Cola form the 1920s. Most of my restaurant reviews contain comments on these two items: COKEALERT: No they don’t serve Coke but they also don’t serve the P stuff either. They make their own mixture. Try the Spicy Cola for an extra burst. Even the diet mixture tastes great. TOILETPAPERNAPKINALERT: This restaurant does it right! It provide good napkins, not the toilet paper thin, one use napkins as many restaurants use nowadays, thinking that the cheapest napkins will save them money. It doesn’t. Wynola obviously understands one good napkin is all one needs.

Visited. 5÷07÷2016 I give this place a 3 ½ Star Review for being friendly, and clean. The Food is Average with the Pizza having a very thin crust. The Crust could have been cooked a little crisper. Our group tried several types of pizza including The Grandfather Pizza, A Cheese Pizza. And An Hawaiian Pizza. All were thin crust and not bad but far from outstanding. We have eaten here before and tried their pasta and Lasagna and it is also good but not great. We also tried The Hot Artichoke Dip. Great flavor but a tad to salty. The House Made Pita Chips were Very Good. The serve yourself soda fountain had a great selection of flavors. The Hit Of The Day Was THEGREAKCHICKENSALAD. OUTSTANDING. Service was Friendly. We live in Ranchita and have eaten at most all places up this way. There isn’t a lot good places to eat in the Julian area so this isn’t a bad choice for a stop on your way coming or going from Julian. It’s the best place for family’s with kids. All in All we will stop in now and again. Enjoy.

This place was delicious. We split a pizza between the two of us and it was more than enough for lunch and a snack later. It was thin crust and didn’t have too much sauce, just like we like our pizza. The restaurant is huge with plenty of seating. The woman working there was kind and have us extra cups to sample their craft sodas. If we are in the area we would eat there again. We highly recommend this place.

Bought a house in Julian and received a letter from Wynola pizza in the mail welcoming us to the community, telling us about the restaurant and offering a welcome gift certificate good towards a purchase. Excellent excellent marketing guys!!! We immediately came out Saturday night and were super impressed with the delicious food! We ordered the mixed green salad(delicious! So many veggies, super fresh), the hummus app(incredible!!! I scarfed it down!) and a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. I was really blown away by the food and am still in awe over the great marketing and generosity! Thanks guy! We will definitely be back. I am still dreaming about that homemade red pepper hummus!

Super bummed, I used to love this place! I ordered a gluten free crust with the zucchini pizza + add mushrooms(on the receipt I paid for them), and a sumi salad. No mushrooms on the pizza, no tofu on the salad as described on the menu, and after being offered a box, and forgotten about, had to go ask for my own 10-minutes later. Went back a few days later and had a much better experience!

Driving to julian we agreed we didnt want to wait in the long lines in town so decided to stop by for some pizza. Pizza always sounds good! Im sad to say but this place has been a let down. The service is ok. Not much interaction with clients after you order. Self serve fountain drinks and all condiments are out so nothing really to bother them about. Pizza prices were about $ 14 each, and they only come in one size! They say it is a medium but honestly its more of a small size because of how thin it is. Honestly reminds me of those little lunchable pizzas you use to take to school. So horribly thin. Ive seen tortillas that are thicker. We orders 2 pizzas for 3 people. Should be enough right since it was about 38 dollars but no, we left hungry. Well the thai pizza was flavorful. What i recommend is to stay away from here if you have an appetite.

Had heard some pretty good things about this place, and definitely was not disappointed. I love pizza!!! And any chance I can get wood fired pizza I jump at it. I knew that before I went in what I was going to order, I got The Godfather Pizza and it was delicious. My 2 year old son loves pizza too and he pretty much went through 2 slices himself. If our family is ever this was again, we will definitely be stopping by again.

Not so great. Didn’t care for the lack of topping coverage on the pizzas. Definitely liked the amount of seating and ambiance but too many Flies in the restaurant. Everything tasted just okay. We all enjoyed the soda fountain.

Good beer selection(many ciders), good pizza, and love music. My daughter, wife and I stopped here on the way back from Julian. It was a perfect cap o a nice day. The pizza and salad were good but note, the pizza is fairly expensive and not that filling. You may want one per person. Love music is posted on their site and on Julian’s tourism site.

This is a great little place just a few miles outside of Julian. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy food, beer, and live music beneath the gorgeous San Diego County stars. The best things about this place are the ambience, the live music, and the beer list. I hate beer but they even had one that I liked(Ok, it was cider). But they have a great list. The pizza was good. Not the best pizza we’ve had(my hubby is from NY, so come on…), but it was a good meal. I got the salad pizza(or pizza salad?) and I don’t think I would get that again. The salad on top was good and the pizza crust underneath was good, but they weren’t a good mix together. It was more like an appetizer than a meal for one person.

Hands down friendly helpful staff service!!! Their pizza I had the Canadian bacon and mushroom and was Delish. Even my picky kiddos loved it. What a great gem of a find. And clean bathrooms. Loved the murals all through. Be warned they have two dining areas past the hallway! And bathrooms too.

husband said this place was great so we came on our way for for a calming trip. sadly their gf crust wasn’t that good at all. Get your pizza well done, it was really soggy. i only ate a few pieces as I was starving. The people here are super nice. the prices are ridiculous, but you there isn’t a lot of options. i should of tried some bbq instead.

Stopped here with my family on the way up to Julian. We split a pizza and ordered a few other things. Everything was great. The pizza was half Veggie and half Joe’s Godfather. The Godfather pizza was very tasty! The thin wood fired crust was great. The garlic bread was also good. I liked that they had a unique soda drink selection as well. The lady was very nice and the service was quick.

Delicious pizza, expensive cider and awesome Saturday night entertainment! Try the BBQ chicken pizza and Apple Pie Hard Cider, both will excite your taste buds and leave you hungry for more. Saturday is typically music night, but tonight(February 7th) is comedy night and family is having a blast! Kid-friendly, relaxed, and great people. Everything you’d expect from a small town event, so much fun!

We’d heard many good things about this place. Hubby and I stopped by here on our way out of Julian. It was only 3pm, but the temperature was dropping into the 40s and it was gray and windy. A nice hot pizza sounded like a supreme idea. We’d brought our little dog with us to Julian and knew we’d have to be seated in the patio and we were gracious for that accommodation. But I was slightly disappointed that they didn’t have heat lamps out. With all the live music events they host and the cold conditions, you would have thought that patio heating was a given. I may have overlooked all that was mentioned above if the food was amazing. Truth be told, the pizza we ordered was only okay. Thin, crispy crust, mediocre toppings. There were 6 slices which we quickly devoured and were looking around for more. The price was around 13 – 14 bucks. I hate to say it, but I’ve had better, more filling pizza from pizza chains.
