I love this store! I shop here at least once or twice a week to buy clothes for my son & to purchase toys and books for my daycare. Every shopping experience that I have had here has been a great one. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.

I love this store, they carry my Favorite baby carrier Lillebaby! I’m in love with my new embossed ! Love anytime I swing by there!

Brought my housekeeper to Conceptions, who just had a baby boy. Sherry really helped explain everything regarding strollers and car seats. When she saw my housekeeper was a little short of funds, she offered her a discount so she could afford a very clean and sturdy stroller. Thank you Sherry!

I had been toting around the same box of near perfect baby clothes for 2 years.
I talk to a sweet blonde girl, didn’t get her name. She adds it up, I get my credit it cash, I took the credit and I was done.
I was able to get some new and hardly worn things for my little one.
I’d go back!

I just needed to update my review on this place. Two weeks ago I sold my car seat stroller combo it was Eddie Bauer I got brand new from Target. I recived fifty dollor store credit. I think that was more then fair. I was in last week and saw it on the sale floor and I saw it being sold to a new owner so that made me happy.
I try to shop here at least once a week if not every other week. This is still my favorite baby resale when ever I need to sell anything this place is always my first stop because I know I will get a fair price. I have a six year old and all her toys, clothes, shoes I buy new and for my one year old half of her stuff is new and half comes from various baby resale around San Diego.
I love this baby resale so much. I’m a happy customer and love supporting small business. This place is such a blessing to have in our community of Santee.

Love love love this place awesome prices on used children’s toys that are barley used. We didn’t have time to look at the clothes but judging from our experience they are probably equally awesome. Friendly staff and they offer a discount for law enforcement foster parents government and more. We can’t wait to go back to find some more treasures for my sweet boy.

This place is like a cute little baby boutique! We always find something when we shop here. Very clean, and MOST of the staff that work here are polite.

Came here for the first time yesterday and it was awesome. It was 30 minutes before closing but the girls working did not seem to mind at all. Very polite and attentive, and didn’t seem to mind my energetic 2 year old running around playing with the toys in the back. I came here because I needed warm clothes for my 9 month old who has grown out of all of his and my 2 year olds hand me downs have seem to disappeared. They have a good size rack towards the back of the store where I found a large selection of warm pajamas for my little man for only 99 cents, it was awesome. They have a great selection of clothing and sizes for very reasonable prices. They also have shoes, toys, cribs, strollers, etc… everything you could need. I will definitely be coming back again and again and will refer everyone I know to come here. I bought a brand new toddler mattress still in the bag and a large bag of baby clothes for only $ 60.00 can’t beat the prices and the service was great, the employees were soooo nice. Can’t wait to go back!

I recently set aside a day to venture out and enjoy some baby consignment shopping. I’m new to this, haven’t done a lot of consignment shopping before, and Conceptions was the first place to visit on my list. It ended up being my favorite (and I visited several throughout the day)!. The girls working there were so sweet, and the selection was great. I scored some fabulous finds that were barely worn for a fraction of the cost of what I would have paid new. I also thought that their prices were reasonable, some of the other consignment stores that I visited were not priced much cheaper than if I were buying new, which was a big turnoff. Conceptions priced things very fairly, and best of all, they were having a Buy 2 Get 2 Free sale! I am now following their FaceBook page so that I am aware next time they have a sale like this, it saved me a ton!
Great selection, great prices and great staff. What more could I ask for? Can’t wait to return and see what new gems they have in stock!

I’m so happy to have found this place. I live less than a quarter mile from the new location — it’s close enough to walk to. A friend recommended that I check it out because they buy a lot of their kids’ stuff there. I was skeptical of a resale shop because I didn’t want to shop through junk, but this place isn’t junky. You can tell that they have taken time and care to stock only good items. The clothing is all like-​new, barely worn items, and the other things they stock like furniture is all stuff I’d feel comfortable to have in my home. I almost had an issue with a purchase I made, but thanks to good customer service we were able to resolve the problem. Sometimes a problem can become such a good thing, because now I know they care about their customers and I trust them even more! I’ll be shopping here a LOT, especially the clothing for my rapidly growing boy!
I never visited the old location because I never wanted to try to access the parking lot (it was in a weird spot), but this new location is great. They have a very nice, clean storefront with tons of parking. I hear the old shop didn’t have AC but this one is air conditioned for your shopping comfort. I feel comfortable in there! I also noticed in just 4 days a lot of stock has rotated, so it’s the kind of place you can check back at frequently for what you need.

It’s been about 3 years since I’ve visited Conceptions. I used to visit their old location on Mission Gorge when my 8 year old was a baby. I was in the shopping center the other day to get groceries and decided to check out their new location. It’s PACKED full of goodies! I purchased two board games for my kids at $ 5 each that retail about $ 20 – 25 new on Amazon. I also found two cute pairs of pajamas for my 2 year old on the 99 cent clearance rack. Carters 2 piece pajama sets for $ 1! I only checked out the clearance rack since I was in a hurry, but they had an assortment of clothing racks that I will be going back to check out.

This is a great resale shop with a wide selection of gently used baby gear and clothes.
I was surprised at how new most of the clothes looked as baby clothes are generally washed a hundred times and then sold.
They have a wish list for specific items. I am hopeful for the item I added. There is also an email list for events and specials.
There are discounts listed for easy viewing. She also didn’t make me feel guily for using it. I got the military discount. I also used my cc on a total that was less than $ 10 without a fuss.
I will definitely be returning to this store even though it’s a hike for me out to Santee. This is also the first place I’ll send my friends to for a baby resale shop.

First time in the store and was impressed by their selection and service. They were clearly about the customer as the staff was very friendly and personable. (also super knowledgeable)
This is certainly a hidden gem located in heart of east county.

My review is for their new location which is AWESOME! They have a huge parking lot with plenty of parking, air conditioning inside, much more open spaces & better displays, LOT’S more room for more inventory. I have sold here twice already & it’s still a pretty easy process. I have been to a few other baby retail locations in east county & Conceptions blows them out of the water with the prices they offer… Baby Exchange in La Mesa wanted to give me $ 7 cash or $ 11 store credit for my excellent condition Eddie Bauer Graco stroller, while Conceptions happily more than doubled my store credit. The girls are always friendly & helpful, they buy 4 days a week.
