Santee Day Spa And Nails

Lol are you kidding me… I’m not usually one to complain or be picky but I just went to Santee Day Spa and Nails on my lunch break because it is close to where I work. From the minute I walked in I didn’t feel welcome, no one smiled or said hello. The lady wasn’t very nice or friendly at all. I asked for a regular full set with white tips. I do have very short nails so usually what they do is put clear tips and paint the top part with white polish… my nails have never looked this bad. I’m literally embarrassed to go back to work because I don’t want anyone seeing my nails like this. I had to ask 3 times if she would paint them all one color to cover up what she did and she kept saying «um I don’t know» when I asked for them to be pained one color she said it wouldn’t work so I asked if she could just paint them all white. This was the outcome. Just a warning, I would avoid going here to get your nails done. The first picture is what she did originally, second picture is after I convinced her to paint them for me. yikes.

ZERO STARS!!! ZERO ZERO ZERO!!! I have never been given such attitude and treated with such disrespect. My sister and I went in for a fill as we are on the hunt for a new nail place. The good reviews steered us here. Omg. They kept trying to persuade us to do the opposite of what we wanted, I’m assuming cause they didn’t really want to work. I believe Lisa is the one who was helping me, everything was going fine until my sister voiced that the lady helping her kept burning her. The two workers started exchanging in their language so I can’t be sure what was said but the customer service from there on was horrendous. Telling my sister they couldn’t do what she wanted so she proceeded to ask them to just remove the nails completely, Lisa talked her in to letting her try once she finished with me. Worst attitude ever, throwing my sisters hands down, stopping to take long personal calls and just walk away with no word, accusing us of not being clear on what we wanted. Horrible horrible. We pay for our less than mediocre nails and my sister proceeds to tell Lisa her customer service was terrible and we will be leaving a review and Lisa yells us out the door saying «I don’t care, bye» … I honestly was just in shock. Will never return!

I found this place in the coupon magazine for Santee and wanted to give them a try. I walked in at 5 last night knowing that they didn’t close til 7. There was nobody else in there besides the one lady working who told me to have a seat. After a few minutes, she says I’d rather you come tomorrow. Put up the closed sign if you don’t want to work when you clearly are open for another 2 hours!

Awesome foot massage. Highly recommend. Got my nails done too. Im thrilled with the service. She even made me a vietnamese coffee… love this spa

Just got white tip acrylic gel manicure and French tip pedicure. Both came out perfectly! Also glad they’re open on Sunday’s unlike many nail salons cause I’m busy during the week and I usually almost always have something going on Saturdays!

First time here & I loved it I got a special pedi&medi for 25 $ ! The lady did a good job cut my cuticles filed then and painted my nails… didn’t push into buying something I didn’t want & she seemed to care about personal life too made me feel very comfortable will Definitely be coming back !

Helena did an outstanding job on my mani /​pedi. She didn’t try to talk me into anything I didn’t ask for (so frustrating when they try to constantly upsell you in gel, or whatnot when all you want is a manicure). It was incredibly relaxing, and super affordable. I’ll definitely be back.

Got my nails done by the other nail tech yesterday and she is soooooo awesome. Pays so much attention to detail and didn’t hurt me at all. I got a super simple light pink acrylic fill and she shaped them perfectly. Ask for LISA!!! :)

Husband and I went for massage on 5/​30/​15-​second time to do so because first time was great. Very different experience the second time. My husband’s massage was done by the nail person-​not a true massage at all and was done 25 minutes before me. I went back to express my disappointment in not having one of the two ladies who are supposed to give the massages wasn’t present since I had booked the appointments a week ahead of time. Owner didn’t care (she was the one who gave the massage). She said she «didn’t like giving massages» but that the other lady wasn’t available. I told her I thought we were at least due another massage or a refund. She didn’t agree-​all the while texting and looking at her phone as I spoke. I told her I was very disappointed since I had recommended the salon to many people. She told me next time she’d have the regular woman there for the massage. I told her I wouldn’t be back. She literally shrugged her shoulders and continued to look at her phone. Too bad. I was really impressed and hopeful that this salon would be successful. I can’t imagine that this type of treatment will lead to that.

This review is for Anna, the masseuse.
I went to Santee Day Spa twice this weekend. First massage session was less than pleasant. After speaking to the owner, I was booked with Anna the following day.
Anna was very conscientious. She asked me frequently if the pressure she applied was just right, and she also explained the benefits of certain pressure points.
Although advertised as ‘Swedish’ or ‘Deep Tissue’ massage, Anna actually combined different massage techniques when working on my problem areas.
I left very relaxed and satisfied with this second massage. Next time, I know to ask for Anna only as she takes pride in her work and really cares that you leave feeling relaxed and de-​stressed.

The lady that did my mom’s pedicure was good… The lady that did mine was awful. She tried to tell me I wasn’t going to get the full treatment of the package I wanted, she did a horrible job overall and rushed through my pedicure when someone else walked through the door. Besides the nail polish, you wouldn’t even be able to tell I had gotten a pedicure. My feet are not bad at all either but I guess scrubbing with the callus remover was just a difficult job? Also, I was moving my feet slowly in the water and it overflowed– oops… don’t snap at me. You were the one who put too much water in.
Also, I can not hold my feet in the air for a long period of time. I’m clearly 9 months pregnant and more tired/​sore than ever. Hence the reason I’m getting this not-​so-​relaxing pedicure.
It was not relaxing and I won’t be back.
Note to the lady– smile, good customer service brings you better tips.

One of the best massages ever!!! Almost don’t want the word to get out but this girl deserves it. Massage deserves five stars, only took away a star due to it not being a true spa like setting as it is in a nail salon but if you want an excellent massage by someone who knows their craft at an affordable price, this is the place to come!

What a wonderful place! I got one of the best massages I have ever had. I. The massage therapist name is Anna. You won’t be sorry. Next up I had a mani pedi with Lisa, awesome work and very kind. She even brought me hot tea. I highly recommend this lovely women very through. To end my day I had a eyebrow wax and and deep pore hydrating facial with Halina, excellent, wonderful so relaxing. I have lived in Santee for years and it is nice to say I can now stay here for all my spa needs. I highly recommend this wonderful place and super kind staff. Thank you ladies Char

I have been to a lot of nail salons and this. one is great.
Lisa is very good and I am really happy with her.
It is quiet and relaxing and they offer waxing. Massage and facials.
The prices are great, very very reasonable.

So relaxing and 5 star customer service! Lisa was fabulous and Helena so kind beautiful clean nail spa! I’ll be back! The best nail and massage in Santee! Thank you
