We have stopped in Santee many times and have overlooked this restaurant. Tired of the normal fare we located this establishment right across the street. The food was very good and the atmosphere enjoyable. It appeared many locals both eat there and did take out. Take out required a bit of waiting as the food is prepared fresh. Seems no one minded the wait.

A secret hole in the wall next to a nail place and Hampton Inn. My husband ordered the sweet and sour flounder– excellent. I have decided that I should give up meat as the last three meals I ordered in various restaurants have been disappointing. I think I just do not like Meat anymore. The duck I had was unimportant in the dish to me but the fried rice and mixed vegetables were delicious. Even the white rice was good. Also had spring rolls to start– crispy and came steaming hot. Their special tea is a taste treat an you get a little green candy at the end that is a taste treat but I cannot figure out what the taste actually is.

Great food. We had no sushi as we were somewhat intimidated bysmall size and volume of sushi sold. All of the food we ordered was amazingly good. Nine out of 10 spiciness ordered however translated to about five out of 10 or six out of 10 for me. Obviously this is a personal issue only. Flavor freshness and tastiness of everything was superb. Very small venue. Seems to be family owned and run restaurant. Anytime I’m in the area I will clearly make an effort to be here again for dinner.

Don’t go by Unilocal direction and just plug in address in your GPS or you won’t find it. This is very casual place but food are very tasty and fresh! They also have free range eggs that picked daily and it’s $ 3 per dozen. Need place to checkout!!!
