BBQ is very subjective. Everyone has their favorites which is someone else’s least favorite. But I for one, was very impressed with this little BBQ place. It’s not fancy, it sits in a little strip mall. But I could smell the stand alone smoke shack when I got out of my vehicle. The owners were working and seemed very genuine and friendly. I had ribs, brisket, and bologna. The ribs were falling off the bone. The brisket was moist and tender. The bologna had a good smoke flavor. I had a really good side of coleslaw and their beans were good as well. The owner insisted I try the homemade tabouli. I had never had any that I liked, but at her insistence. I tried it. I have to say while I’m no tabouli expert. It was the best I’ve ever eaten. They also let me sample the chicken. Which was also good. The owner was open about his process for smoking. Which I always appreciate as an amateur meat smoker. The bbq sauce was good. But it just accentuated the meat. They put more effort into making good smoked meat than honing a proprietary bbq sauce. But it was very very similar to a popular regional sauces people use around Tulsa. As I told them, they focused on a good delivery of the meat with store bought sauce. Most places would try to do both and fail. I suspect they will have their own sauce eventually as time goes on. All in all worth a stop in if your hungry and in the neighborhood.

Clean, unassuming place in the Eastwood shopping center. For the money, the«Customer’s Choice» is the best value in Tulsa. The meat is tender and tasty. The potato salad was okay, very creamy, the tabouli was good. The hot sauce was fair and the mild sauce was okay. Very nice people working there.
