I had the chicken and he had the shrimp. The chicken was dry and tasteless! The shrimp had more rice than anything. Even with the sauce it was still all bland! I will not go back there! Oh btw I told the lady who took our order that it was the first time we were there and I believe she was rude and unhelpful!

Not bad for a drive thru quick stop place. I had the Hibachi chicken with broccoli instead of mixed veggies. I would stop here again for something when I just didn’t feel like cooking.

The food was ready quickly, but was not very good. Nor did we get much food for the money. We tried both the chicken and beef plates. The meat is dry and too salty. The vegetables were nice though, especially the broccoli. The tables were mostly a little dirty, but the bathrooms were clean.

Good for a drive thru hibachi place. I’ve had the hibachi teriyaki chicken and steak. Good portion sizes for the price. I do hate how they charge you extra for extra yum yum sauce. Drive thru time takes awhile so prepare to wait but they make the food fresh

I found the chicken to be dry and overdone. The sauce makes a big difference but even with the sauce it just mediocre.

I love the hibachi express on Springhill, so I decided to try out this one. The food was decent, but very salty! Afterwards you feel that your salt limit has been reached for the day.

This location just recently opened in Saraland. It shares a building with Cold Stone Creamery and Great American Cookie Company. The staff is very friendly and welcomes you when you walk in the door. The chalkboard menu behind the counter can be difficult to read at times, but there are printed menus available by the cash register. Everything looked very clean and well kept which was nice. The bathrooms were still in good shape. On to the food! My wife ordered the chicken hibachi with rice, and I ordered the steak and chicken hibachi with noodles. We also shared an order of the dumplings. Her meal had more flavor than mine did. My order did not taste bad by any means; it just wasn’t anything special. This is a «fast-food» style hibachi with a relatively inexpensive menu, so I’m not going to knock them too much on that. The dumplings were very good, but their dipping sauce could use some work. All-in-all, I enjoyed my experience and will return to get my hibachi fix when I don’t feel like driving in to Mobile. I’ll update the review once they get some more time under their belt.

The food is great! I loved it! I do agree with the other review about the wait time on food and the menu being written in chalk.

The food is good. I’ve heard many people complaining about how long it takes to get your order. My argument to that is I wouldn’t expect hibachi food to be ready as quickly as McDonalds food. They cook everything there as it’s ordered. However, I will say good luck trying to read the menu. It looks like they gave a five year old a piece of chalk and told him to have fun. The clerks seemed clueless when I had questions about the menu. I mean basic questions. Like: «does the hibachi chicken come with a side?”(because it doesn’t say on the menu). Overall the place is alright. Hopefully they’re still just ironing out the kinks.
