AAA Flat Rate Moving & Storage

Aloha Chris~ I still have the certified letter which was sent back to me, but I want to correct you that you were NOT authorized to keep the things which I referred to in my earlier review. Why would I tell you to keep my brand new quality hand truck from Home Depot — - when I’m in the midst of a move??? When Jack admitted to me that my brand new zebra painted glass desk top was still there and he didn’t know why, he said he would ship it to me and I helped him out by telling him the name and number of the low cost shipper:“Ship To Hawaii” where I had an account. I’ve given up on ever being reimbursed by your company, but I sure can’t give you a RAVE REVIEW!

We have moved 5 times in 5 years and our move with AAA Flat Rate Moving Company was a far superior experience than we have ever had. From the owner to the secretary and the gentlemen who moved us, everything went exactly as promised and even better! They completed a move from our 17^th floor condo stuffed with heavy furnishings to a two story villa ten miles away in ⁷¹⁄₂ hours. It took that long just to move into the 17^th floor! Everyone was professional, careful and competent and I cannot prasie them enough.

Couldn’t have had a better experience moving my family with AAA Flat Rate Moving company in Sarasota FL. Not sure about the negative review above. We had a very different experience.
We have a 3 bedroom house with two kids, two dogs and all the crap that comes with them. We moved about an hour and half drive north from Nokomis to New Tampa.
My wife and I arranged the move over the phone. We gave them a pretty detailed list of what we thought we had and they gave us a price. Quite frankly we bid the job with two other companies who were between $ 1000 to $ 1500 higher.
Turns out we ended up with 3x as many boxes as we originally estimated. Stuff kept coming out of that house like a sausage filling. I think we are hoarders. The day before the move, I called Jack and let him know about the extra volume and that we had also added the backyard swing set to the move. They sent an extra man and an extra truck. We paid for the difference but they never blinked. With the extra truck, extra man and extra stuff, the bill only ended up $ 400 over the quote.
The price was affordable and the up charge for extra service more than fair.
The crew they sent out was exceptionally proffesional. The lead, a gentlemen by the name of Freddy, can pack a truck like nooone you have ever seen. Having suffered through jamming stuff into my trunk for family vacations, I was in awe.
WE DID NOT HAVE A SINGLE BROKEN OR SCRATCHED ITEM.
The rest of the guys worked fast and efficiently. They arrived on time. They started loading at 8am and we finished around 6pm. They put every box in the correct room as labeled by my wife which made unpacking very easy.
The end result was a great moving experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering these services.

Horrible customer service!!! They are so desperite they will literally steal your money… do not give them a credit card # to «hold» your spot, because they are not legally allowed to do that, and they will run your credit card without authorization! Jack Wallace is a horrible owner if he thinks customers should be treated so innapropriately! STAY AWAY, too many moving companies in Sarasota to deal with the immature behavior of him and his staff!
