Beneva Place Apartments

Clean Apartments convenient to downtown Sarasota and the beaches comfortable, quiet and Pet friendly. We lived there for Six months no complaints

Well, the landscape is pretty. Lots of shade and little paths with big trees everywhere. I had set up an appointment to look at the apartments. I wanted it early. Guy says oh come in at 11 since we were going to grab breakfast ahead of time. So we got there at 11. Sign on door says will be back at 12. Ok, a bit unprofessional but maybe showing a unit. So we wait for 5 minutes and decide to come back. We come back at 12 and the person is STILL gone. So we wait. And wait. And wait. 1pm rolls around and still no one there. Residents are waiting. One resident says the woman working in the office took her lunch to go get her hair done at the mall. Ladies and Gentlemen we ALL know it takes longer than 1 hr to drive to the mall, park, get out, walk to the hair place, wait for your stylist, get your hair did, pay, walk back to car (given the idea that you won’t eat and resist mall junk goodies on your LUNCH) walk back through the parking lot to your car, drive back to work. That is no 1 hr task unless you have NO HAIR. This woman from what I hear has hair like me but blond and its not very tame hair I tell you! So after hearing this, we go back to the car and run into the guy I spoke with the day before. He says he was there at 11 and we were not. AHEM! Did you just call me and my phone a liar??? Oh no he didn’t! And to make it better, while he was calling us a liar to our face (evidently not realizing im an avid Unilocaler and will not be renting us a home no matter HOW nice it is) his maintenance man gets rude with him in front of us about the other people waiting and yells at him for talking to people. Ok, so now im confused, who is the manager again? Needless to say we will not be going back for a few reasons.
1) Who is the manager?
2) who is maintenance?
3) If we had a problem, WHEN could we let them know. What time would they actually be in the office.
4) I forgot this main key point… THEY DONT SHOW APARTMENTS PAST 11. They have other things to worry about. Is that because your maintenance man told you off and you have to go fix unit 101’s toilet? Though the neighborhood was not scary, clean and nice and in a good location that is about all that Beneva Place has to offer.
