I’ve received the Boston Proper catalogs for years and thought there were no retail locations; I’d actually never purchased from them before because I’m always a little wary of sizing with brands I’m not familiar with. So imagine my surprise when upon being driven through St. Armand’s Circle en route to our resort, I saw a Boston Proper outside my window. When we walked to St. Armand’s Circle last Saturday, I ducked into the store real quick and grabbed a catalog, and since I just didn’t have the heart to subject my boyfriend to waiting for me in the store, I decided to come back by myself on Tuesday while he was in a meeting. Which I did. I’d gone on their website in the meanwhile and had seen quite a few things I was interested in, so I already had a bit of a plan upon going into the store. I don’t remember the name of the girl who helped me, but she was amazingly helpful – young petite brunette dressed in the black faux wrap jumpsuit. She was getting me different sizes and colors of things I liked and was super knowledgeable about the styles. She also gave me some excellent advice about online ordering. The shop is narrow and long, and the dressing rooms are very nice. I will definitely come back here next time I’m in Sarasota.
