Extra Space Storage

Ok so this is not a fair storage facility I rented a unit while we were closing on our new home 125.00 a month so we went emptied out the unit only used 17 days and they informed me I do not get a credit of the 15 days remaining this is is so not fair and when I ask she said sorry honey that’s the way it is soooooooo I recommend not using this company at all …

I recently moved to Sarasota and needed a small storage unit for my extra belongings. I chose Extra Space Storage because I had read so many positive reviews about the facility itself and also the personnel and workers especially Iris, the Property Manager. I must enthusiastically agree with all the reviewers. Actually, there was a problem with my confirmed reservation and I was beginning to worry that this was going to become a real problem for me. But Iris was extremely helpful and understanding. She accommodated me and gave me another larger unit until a smaller one opens up. She has been really great to work with, and I feel my belongings will be in a safe and secure storage facility. The entire property is clean and extremely well maintained. My only worry now is that lots of people will be going there… Please don’t rush over there until I get my small storage unit!

The four stars is for the easy of signing up via toll-​free phone number, AND for letting me go to a local place (Dallas TX area) to sign paperwork for my rental unit (Sarasota, FL), since I wanted to lock it in at the advertised rate and not wait until I move at the end of the month.
This seems like a class act and I’m very happy. BONUS: The unit I rented had «multiple entries,» and while that means I have to buy two locks, it also means I can get at my stuff from two different access points, so it really doesn’t matter how well I pack it in there.
