What a pleasant surprise! We went on a cold and rainy day for tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Hands down the best tomato soup around and the mixed cheese sandwich is a heart attack waiting to happen. We licked our bowls clean! A little pricey, service was just so-so, but lunch was supreme and we will go back.

True to it’s name — Fast and definitely Fresh. I got a Chicken Ceasar Salad, which was pretty good(not the best ever, but far far from the worst!). Prices are fair for the location, my salad rang in at 9.99 and was generously portioned. I was happily surprised to find kombucha tea in the cooler as well. Wouldn’t eat here every day, but this is good spot to add to the rotation.

I have been eating at fast and fresh for years! LOVE how fresh everything is! Extra bonus on the cleanliness! I have created many different salad combinations and I have never been disappointed… You can’t go wrong! Just pick all your favorite toppings and experience your brilliant creation!

Not only do they have really fresh ingredients for the make your own salads, they also have delicious soup! Personal favorite is the Kickin Crab n’ Corn Chowder! It’s definitely got a kick to it!

I am so glad this downtown location finally opened! I have been driving 15 mins to the LWR and coopercreek location! Everything is always fresh! The place is always spotless! Create your own salad which ever way you want! The Spicy Thai Peanut dressing is a must try!!! I could drink that stuff!!!

This place is way over priced and way too pretentious. But there are so few straightforward sandwich and salad places in downtown Sarasota. When I saw I would be paying $ 9 for a turkey sandwich I asked for a cup of tap water. Cashier said that they didn’t have any. Not cups but tap water! Really?

A group of co-workers and I just went here because we work downtown and it seemed like our kind of food, but we were wrong. I got the Far East Wrap for $ 7.49 with«Spicy Thai Peanut Sauce» and it wasn’t spicy at all. I’d say on a 1 – 10 spicy scale, it was about a 1. The wrap itself was stuffed with mostly mandarin oranges(canned) and not much else. No flavor and messy; the sauce just collected at the bottom and then ran out everywhere. I was also very irritated when I just wanted regular water to drink; nothing fancy, but they insisted that I would have to purchase a Zepperhills, Figi, or Pelligrino water because they«don’t have cups», so when I asked if they could just fill up a cup I brought, she said«We don’t have a fountain». My co-worker got one of the make your own salads and the lettuce was iceberg and chopped up into tiny pieces, and although had a good amount of meat, was boring and bland. He said the dressing was just okay. It even looked boring, no fresh vibrant colors, no styling. His tomato wasn’t ripe and was hard and flavorless. My other co-worker had one of the wraps, and also agreed that it was boring and flavorless. If you’re looking for sandwiches and salads that actually TASTEGOOD, do yourself a favor and just walk down to Mozzarella Fella instead(no, they didn’t pay me to say that). Nothing about this place is unique or even generically«tasty». You could get a better salad or sandwich at ANY other sandwich shop in Sarasota. This place may be «Fast» but it isn’t fresh(everything comes from Sysco, they don’t buy local or fresh ingredients) and is definitely NOT flavorful.
