We moved my 97 year Mother this week out of the assisted living at the fountains after 6 years. They have beautiful grounds but the assistance part is almost non existent. In addition, they have zero security. Anyone can walk in the building at any time. They have a sign in book but I never once was asked to sign in nor was my Brother. When I complained to corporate, I was told that everyone must sign in. Not true. It is very expensive and often when I would arrive, her dinner tray was there in the morning, she was sleeping in her underwear, waste baskets not emptied. I had to point out ants to the cleaning person. When Mom took a serious Fall, I was not called and my Brother got a call a day later when she had been airlifted to a hospital The staff seemed very confused that I am the daughter as my Mom and I have different names. I went over it several times but they seldom called me. Very happy to have moved her. We visited several places and almost all have a doorbell you must ring before they let you in and ask who you are. Not this facility.
