Unfortunately this dealership has committed the worst — treating me like gold during the sale process, then completely neglecting me when I need something afterwards. After realizing the finance/​accounting employee did not include any of my final sale contract information, I’ve tried contacting them 5 times now. I need to complete my tax filing for this year, but despite speaking to Zach 3 different times, leaving a message another time and leaving a message for someone else in «Finance/​Accounting» I still haven’t received my documents. This has now been a month since I first started contacting them for the information. It’s a pretty simple request, just asking them to email my sales info so I have the tax $ to report, but apparently they are either completely incompetent or just don’t care. I’ll continue my quest to get this information whatever way possible, but this experience has been terrible post-​sale. Very poor business etiquette.

The service department is not trustworthy at all. Deceitful would be the word to use. After 2 visits I discovered that the service «advisor» had fabricated parts of the 18 point inspection checklists thereby giving me an inaccurate and untrue assessment of the needs of my 2008 vehicle. The manager did his best, when confronted with the indisputable evidence, to make it up to me and regain my trust. Unfortunately, the damage was done and led to my decision to sell my vehicle (which was in overall great shape!) and to not purchase another Toyota. It is really too bad that these so-​called «advisors”(who are really salespeople) are judged by their superiors based on their sales, not their good advice.

e scheduled our Prius for an oil change for which we were charged $ 63.14. My husband authorized them to install a cabin air filter which cost $ 39.40. Those two procedures come to $ 102.54
We did not authorize any other charges — only a factory multi-​point inspection which has no charge. They did additional unrequested Fuel Injection Service at a cost of $ 97.95 and Air Induction Service at a cost of $ 102.89. These additional unrequested services cost more than twice as much as the oil and filter change we took the car in for. We will not be returning to Germain Toyota for future service.

My wife and I have homes in Maryland and Florida and so we shopped not only for the best price but for a dealership that was trustworthy. To me the word trust means not making me spend all day being sold stuff, not fluffing the fees and not doing the time tested bait-​and-​switch.
This dealership sold me an incoming 4Runner, had it ready when I arrived and the paperwork took 20 min. I get LIFETIME maintenance for free and everyone there made buying a pleasure.

We recently tried this dealer out for the first & that will surely be our last time time as well. We bring our other car to Wilde Honda nextdoor and never truly appreciated how great there customer service was until we dealt with this dealer… night & day difference! At Toyota, their tech broke several of studs holding the lugnuts on one wheel and we were told that the car was now undeliverable. They said that all 5 studs needed to be replaced as they were either broken or stripped and bent. They said that the previous owner had cross threaded the lugnuts and the studs just snapped off when they tried to remove them. We were then told that they didn’t carry our size of studs or type of lugnuts and that they had to be ordered. This was on a Friday afternoon and we were told that the parts wouldnt be available until Tuesday. We were able to locate the needed parts ourselves locally and dropped them off at the shop the next morning. We returned later to pick up the car to find out that the price wasn’t what they had quoted us even after finding the parts ourselves. We argued in the hall in front of other customers with Paul the service guy who lowered the price by $ 10, but acted as if was a HUGE discount that he shouldn’t even be doing. He was very rude and after changing the price just walked away without saying anything. Still now lowered to the price we were orinlginally told, but knew it was a loosing battle to continue talking with him. We left the shop and looked over the wheel they repaired and drove home 5 min away. Got out of the car to head in and noticed that the front drivers side wheel was now missing a lugnut and cap! We quickly called the dealer and they said that they were in the process of locking up the shop and we would have to come by on Monday to see if they still had the part. We practically begged them to have someone walk into shop to see if they at least still had the parts there and they wouldn’t budge. Monday morning and no calls have come in from them. We called the service department and after playing phone tag finally spoke to someone. She proceeded to tell us that we had only brought 4 of the 5 lugnuts and bolts that they needed for the rear tire. After explaining that we brought in all 5 and have the receipts, and that the missing one was on the front tire, she said she would have to call me back again. When she called back, she apologized and said that they found the parts and we could come by to pick them up and that she was sorry and that it should have never happened. Had our son pick up the parts and when he returned home, we found out that they gave him one of the studs and lugnuts that we had dropped off on Saturday. They only replaced 4 of the 5 they charged us for and never gave us the parts back. We were told that all 5 had been cross threaded and were damaged. Now we are sitting here wondering if we are going to have problems with the one that they didn’t replace the next we take off the tire. We called and left a message explaining that the parts we picked up were he new parts and that we were still missing the lugnut and plastic covet cap for the front wheel. They have not returned our call back and it’s been 5 days. They were sure quick to have a sale person call us the night we dropped off the car to try to convince us that the car had a great deal of miles and we should look at buying a new one. Also they were quick to have the manager send out an email to us after that call saying that we expressed an interest in a Corolla and that he would like to talk to us and answer any questions. Never once did the sales person talk to us about a Corolla. We explained several times to several people that our son just bought this car two weeks ago and he wasn’t in the market for another. There is also a huge lack of communication going on between employees. We called them on Saturday morning to let them know we had the parts and were coming by with them. We received a call shortly after that asking us what are plans were with our car that was still bin their shop with broken studs. I had to explain the entire story and he acted as if it was all news to him. I would leave a zero star review if possible as we are extremely disappointed with the entire experience.

Took my new Prius in for routine maitenance. Arrived at 1030, they did not start the work until 12. Over two hours for routine work. I was not told when I arrived that it would be some time before work was started, nor given any update. First and last trip to this garage. Not impressed with this dealership. I was told when I bought the car that their service garage was outstanding… I previously had a Honda and used to go for service right next door… their service was outstanding.
Follow up… no need to contact Brad, to hear what? Give us another chance? Please. Improve your service, and your reviews here will reflect it!
