Had a cracked screen on my iMac. Called Mac RX, spoke to Chris and he offered me a used screen for less than half the price of a new one. Couldn’t get to Sarasota for the replacement for a while. Chris sold the used screen on Ebay. Understandable. So I figured I would have to get the new one and spend a few dollars more than I had planned. This morning I get a call from Chris, a month after the initial contact. He has another used screen. Am I still interested? Absolutely! So I packed up the Mac, drove up to Sarasota and he replaced it in 10 minutes at the same reasonable price initially quoted. A VERY good guy!!! I would go back to him for any repairs in a heartbeat.

Paid to have printer fax scanned installed, got printer working, was obviously in a hurry and didn’t check other functions which weren’t working. Now wants another fee to come back out

do not take your computer here! the owner is rude, incompetent, hangs up on you when you call and does not let you speak. had my computer for almost a week –two times and could not repair. do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go

My Iphone 5 had issues… Chris is the man I dropped my Iphone off on Thursday, Chris gave me a loaner… problems solved in 3 business days(Apple says 4 – 6 weeks)… Emailled me daily of status and made sure everything was resolved before I left… Great experience for something I dreaded… Thanks Chris

My laptop keyboard stopped working for some reason, and the closet apple store is an hour away, so I decided to come here. The service was terrible, the guy needs an aditude adjustment. When we talked on the phone, he said that he’d check out the laptop, free of charge, so I drove 20 minutes to get to fruitville. When I arrived, I explained to him that it randomly stopped working and he said«it’s 400 dollars to replace the keyboard» without taking a look at my laptop. but I didn’t care, I took out my laptop and showed him anyways because 490 is ridiculous! When I was showing him how some keys work, and some times the trackpad is only right click, he didn’t even bother listening to me or looking(I thought it could’ve been a connection problem) He was obviously irritated at me(god knows why) and kept insisting on me paying 400 dollars rudely. long story short, go to the apple store or anywhere else but here!

Honesty and integrity puts this business ahead of the rest Wanting to get just six more months of life out of my ancient Powerbook, I called and asked about a new powercord. Was told that a replacement would likely not be cost-effective. I persisted that I wanted to get just a few more months out of it, and the wonderful owner hooked me up with a power cord which did the trick for a very fair price. I certainly appreciate his help and will definitely be using his services in the future.

I Have had service from MACRX since 2008. Not that I need it very often, MAC is a great product — but when I do, Chris Rively at MACRX is the one I trust the most. He has an encyclopedic understanding of Mac Products, and stays current on updates/new products, apps, etc. He is patient, a good listener, which means he usually gets it right the first time. Laptop Hard-drive changeout– Apple store wanted me to do a consultation and after a big press for info told me expect 2 days to fix(Hell I got a business to run!) another authorized store said the same —- this guy(authorized by the way) did a 2.5 hr turn around) … SERVICE… he also sells grand-piano’s …
