The calzones are huge and are sure to fill you up if you can even finish it. It tasted delicious! The down side is that they don’t have appetizers or sides… you can’t get fries or mozzarella sticks, they only have small bags of plain potato chips, which is strange for an Italian place that is big on pizza delivery and carry out. The woman working the counter was also a bit rude, she was speaking very loudly to other employees and was not speaking very nicely to them, which is annoying when you’re eating and can hear everything in the restaurant. She also was not welcoming to us and it seemed as though she was rushing us through our order. Food is good though!

Overall it is one of the best pizza joints in Sarasota. I normally get the two slices and a drink combo and usually pretty satisfied. Sometimes the pizza is a little too crispy, sometimes a little too undercooked, but that’s alright. Biggest pain is that parking. Don’t even try to go here on a busy day/night without expecting to walk at least half a mile.

Best N. Y. style pizza I have ever had.(I’ve never had pizza in New York, but if it’s even better than this, which many reviewers have said, then no wonder New Yorkers rave about it!) I had the two slice cheese special and added meatballs and sausage; my wife had pepperoni; we enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommend.

The pizza is great. Convenient to late night spots. Employees are not friendly, borderline assholes.

One of my favorites for pizza. Special for two slices. When I eat there I see a lot of take out business. I am from New York and when I find good pizza I come back for more. Huge slices, inside is clean with large TV’s. They also do delivery. Not fancy but good food.

Great and legit New York style pizza. The large is really large. Toppings fresh. My favorite pizza in Sarasota.

I’ll give it 5 stars because it reminds me of the giant slices that I used to eat at Penn Station in NYC when I missed the 3am train out east and had to wait until 5… The place itself is nice. Several large flat screen TVs and leather seating(is way better than Penn!) the bathrooms are clean. They deliver to a fairly wide area(I think down to Webber/Beneva).

We ordered a pizza from here to be delivered to the Ritz Carlton Hotel. They told us it would be an hour at 640PM. I called back at just after 8 and was told that they were delivering to another room and should be here momentarily. He never showed. We called back to cancel the order and was put on hold. I hung up. Manager called back and said they went to the beach club. It is raining and night. There are no rooms there. Terrible service! I do not recommend!

Great location and good ambiance. In my opinion, the pizza was only average. The sauce was tasty and the slices are big however, the pizza crust was extremely dry!

We had a large order of 8 — 20″ pizzas and some pasta too delivered to our hotel in a timely manner. Great big NY style slices that were super hot and tasty, and they brought us a stack of plates, napkins and silverware too! I would not hesitate to order from them again whenever I’m in town.

Great pizza that delivers to Longboat Key! About an hour wait time, but totally worth it. Very tasty, great service. Definitely will keep these guys in mind for our future stay-at-home foodie needs :)

By far the best pizza I’ve ever had. No doubt. Simple, and delicious. And their slices are huge! For for 5 bucks, I certainly couldn’t eat more than one. So it’s a super good deal.

Sausage and peppers sub was sorely lacking sausage and peppers. Perfect if you like raw onion and bread though.

This pie is just ok… they use corn meal to soak up the grease.. Which makes it taste like dominoes.YUCK. why ruin a good thing.. Staff is friendly.. but several better options around.. Oh ya good luck trying to park close

Taking a bunch of Patel’s to a place called patellinis is priceless. The pizza is good and thin and also comes out pretty quickly. There is free wifi. The bathrooms definitely need some work though. All in all, it a good place to get a quick bite to eat.

Quiet possibly the most boring pizza I’ve ever had. Ignoring that they got my order wrong, the top crust was rustic and crispy. But the bottom crust was weak and soggy. The cheese has absolutely zero flavor, nor do the toppings. If I were blindfolded I wouldn’t be able to tell you what was on this pizza. The Greek salad was equally bad. Super sour dressing with no body, spices or flavor. Consider this place if you are looking for meal that is completely devoid of flavor or perhaps have IBS or cannot eat any spices. And what the heck is with all the red pepper?

I’m sorry, it’s a 5 star’er people. I normally don’t throw this out there… in fact, my girlfriend will tell you I hate it when its thrown out there as some reason why I’d be an expert in something, but I’m making an exception… I’m from NY. Long Island to be exact, which is far from the same thing. But I have had some fantastic pizza — probably some of the best NY pizza you can get. Patellinis is not that. However, it is the best NY style pizza I have found outside of NY. I can’t give it higher praise than that. The crust is always perfect, especially if you get it just a bit more well done. The cheese and sauce are excellent. They aren’t open late. They are a bit expensive. I mean, $ 20+ for a large pizza is a bit much, especially if that large pizza is only for 1 or 2 people(I’m fat). I marked it as a single«$» because as long as you aren’t fat, and split the pizza like a non-fat person, then you will spend less than $ 10 each. If you’re in Sarasota/Bradenton, this is where you should get your pizza. Unless you prefer Chicago pizza, in which case you’re just weird.
