Good place for Italian food. I especially like the poor mans lasagne and the Italian bread chicken wings. If you are having s party at work they are great for Catering. I have called last minute and in an hour they are feeding 20 people.

Don’t sit outside if you want fast service. The pizza was decent. The garlic cheese bread was delicious.

Finally found a great pizza place with other fantastic Italian favorites– came here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and vibe! Totally chill environment with enough appeal for a casual date night; modern Italian style

Stopped in at the end of a long camping trip based on reviews. A little off the path but worth the drive. Staff was great. Got a pep pizza. Easily filled the four of us. Will return for sure!

I love this place. It has a family neighborhood local feel. It has the best gluten free pizza and desserts. My husband has ordered many different dishes and loved them all.

This place is a Hidden Gem. A bit off the beaten path but well worth the trip. John the owner is a great guy who loves his work and takes great pride in what he and his staff prepare and serve his guests. I call them guests because we really felt like long lost friends. I loved the small town feeling that we got. So, enough about the atmosphere. The Meat Lasagna was excellent with yummy garlic bread and a Caesar Salad that was a standout right down to the quality anchovies and homemade croutons. All this comes free with your entrée. Nice! Home brewed iced tea that was fresh and delicious. My wife had the Eggplant Parmesan with pasta. No frozen eggplant here. Fresh sliced and cooked to perfection with delicious marinara sauce, melted mozzarella cheese and oh yes, a great Caesar Salad with garlic bread. We also split a bowl of the Italian Wedding Soup. Yummy! All this for under 25 bucks. We will be going back.

Nice people here. They gave us a drink to wait for our pizzas because they were swamped. They had a good handmade gluten-free pizza for me. 14″ too.

Try the white pizza it is heaven on a pan. The regular pizza is the best in Sarasota by far. Not a fancy place but friendly and good food.

Fresh pizza — dough made in house and it shows. Tastey! Had the margarita pizza — and liked the personal 8″ size. Rough finish table tops add to the character of the place. Recommended stop if you are looking for something different than a chain restaurant pizza.

Tried their pizza at the request of friends who heard this place was good. I ordered a white pizza with pepperoni and a meat lovers pizza. Upon picking up the boxes, they felt a little light. Once home the pizzas looked like something I could get from Little Caesars pizza. The pizzas were very thin and the flavor was just ok. Hey, I gave it a shot and probably won’t be back. The waitress was nice.

Excellent Pizza I stopped in today for lunch. Pizza SRQ offer some lunch specials but I had already looked online and had decided on their Meat Lover’s Pizza. It was excellent, a little oily due to all the cheese and meats and the small was a pretty good size for lunch. The thin-ish crust while not crispy was still firm and good. Tasty and warm, and it only took about 12 minutes between ordering and when it arrived. It was busy and that kept the two servers busy. While I didn’t receive the outstanding and friendly service other reviews imply, I did get no problem friendly service. Pizza SRQ is not located in a usual restaurant area but can be found along Palmer Blvd between Honore Ave and Cattleman Rd. If you are in the area and hungry for a sandwich or some pizza, Pizza SRQ is a very good choice.

Great pizza! We tried it tonight for the first time & loved it. We moved here from out of state months ago and have been looking for a thin pizza — we found it! Staff was very friendly & attentive. Thanks for making our night!

Tried Pizza SRQ through Doorstep Delivery. The food was delectable; my eggplant parmesan sub was thick, cheesy, full of flavor, and was served up with crispy, thick cut fries. My fiancé had the gyro and it was described as «thick, meaty, saucy gyro goodness». We will definitely order(or eat in) from here again.

Good quality. We had the white pizza and a more traditional cheese and pepperoni/sausage. This is more of a NY style than is my preference, but it’s done well. Certainly worth the effort of an out of the way location.

Great place for a great meal… crisp delicious Pizza. Gyros stuffed with lamb… Subs run the gamut from cold cuts to parmagiana. The best Philly Cheese steak this side Philadelphia… remember to save room for their canolis. A WONDERFULFRIENDLYNEIGHBORHOODPLACEFORFRIENDSTOMEET… and kid friendly.

The food here is good but not the best I’ve ever had. I had the stromboli, which was a little small for the price. The sauce was good, dough was ok. I hope to try something different next time. Inside the restaurant is very bright and clean. Employees are pleasant to deal with. I decided to come to this restaurant because Unilocal had an awesome promotion going on. Overall I would say it’s a decent pizza place. Hoping next time will be better though.

Went with some friends to try out this spot. Had a little trouble with them figuring out our coupon but a higher up sorted it out for us quickly. The bar has been set high by some other pizza places in town but this one has a pretty decent slice. Medium thickness crust, soft, with no crisp to it. Some people really like that, me, I prefer a little snap. Reminded me of a better chain pizza. Higher quality but still not top tier stuff. It’s no New York style. American style pizza I’d say. Small place but bright and clean. There are many types of pizza and this one ain’t half bad… It sure beats papa johns!

The only thing great about this place is the one young waitress who was constantly smiling and very polite. The second waitress working was just off-putting and pushy. Well to the most important part, the food. Absolutely terrible. I ordered the calamari for the appetizer and the chicken parmesan for the main entrée. The calamari tasted like it just came out from the microwave. I could not even finish it. My chicken Parmesan was served with spaghetti noodles and tomato sauce. I would have been more pleased if it had just came with just the chicken. The noodles were too overcooked and drenched with watered down tomato sauce. The actual chicken was not bad, but it looked and tasted like it came from a frozen package. My friend ordered a small pizza and that was the worst pizza I ever had. The crust was soggy and the ingredients just fell off as soon as you picked up the slice. I feel terrible for giving such a bad review because it looks like this is a nice establishment with a loyal customer base, but I just don’t understand how food that bad is being served. What is even worse is I don’t understand how they have a pretty good rating. Will definitely not be back.

Came here based on the reviews and the deal they got here while I was around in the area. First and foremost, service here is outstanding. The servers there were very attentive, cordial and nice throughout the time my bud and I were there. They filled our waters without us asking. Can’t complain about anything there. However, food could have been better. I ordered the meat lasagna and 8″ supreme pizza. The garlic bread and caesar salad came with the lasagna. Out of the 4 items, I liked the side salad and garlic bread the most. Salad was fresh and garlic bread had a lot of garlic and butter(it was dripping butter!). Highlights stop there though. The meat lasagna and pizzas were not my type. Meat tasted bland and lacked seasoning, and the sauce tasted like the type from Ragu brand. Didn’t feel the tomatoes there. In addition, pizza had too much oil for my liking. As in, a lot dripped down my hand and plate as I took each bite. Not sure if that was an anomaly or not, but regardless I didn’t enjoy it. Took away most of the qualities of the pizza. Crust is thin if you’re into that. Pluses were the restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Those who were sitting around us made the food somewhat more enjoyable too. However, the food isn’t something I would come back for again.

Dined here with my wife because of the Unilocal deal and the Unilocal reviews. I ordered the 8″ pepperoni pizza with a caesar salad. The pizza lacked pepperonis but came with lot of grease, just look at my plate. The pizza was just okay and I definitely don’t think PizzaSRQ makes the best pizza in Sarasota. I ordered a 12″ pizza to go just to see what that was like. This pizza had less grease but the whole problem is they lack crust. If you like thin crust you are more likely to be a fan of this place. The service was great, no complaints there. The waitress on duty was really nice and was prompt at refilling my drink and asking us if we needed anything. In conclusion, I’d give Pizza SRQ2.5 stars but I’m rounding up due to the good service.
