Sea Cup and Up

The only thing this store has going for it is that the women are good fitters. Unfortunately they carry such small selection that it’s not much help. I was offered a grand total of three bras in my size, including an unflattering print and a sports bra I had purchased previously that fell apart in weeks. I showed the saleslady the bra that had fallen apart and she continued to offer me the same product. So I was not able to buy anything except a bra that the saleslady herself said was ugly when she presented it to me.
The real problem with this store is the customer service. The women who work there have been brazenly rude each of the three times I have visited. Each time I have been polite and spent at least $ 100. On my last visit I ordered a bra that I was told would take three weeks to arrive. When I went into the shop 6 weeks later to ask where it was, they changed their story, talked down to me and acted as if there wasn’t a problem. They gave me a patronizing «it will probably be here any day but we’ll email to follow up and let you know» on my way out, but I never heard from them.
Two weeks later when I called again they finally followed up and suddenly they learned my bra was never shipped due to their lack of knowledge of ordering procedures. Ultimately it took two months for my to receive a prepaid order. When I picked up the order and asked why the problem wasn’t discovered when the saleslady supposedly followed up three weeks ago upon my initial visit, the woman gave an explanation that was false and falsely blamed me. When I asked politely for clarification she glared at me, and proceeded to simply ignore me. She flat out would not answer me. She refused to answer my question at all and acted as if I hadn’t spoken. So after a bra taking nine weeks longer to arrive than expected, all I got was another dirty look and rudeness from the sales staff. There are fitters who are just as good at Dillards who are polite and accountable.

I have been shopping here for years and I’m only 19. I started when I was young with an abnormally large chest, I was approx. ¹²⁄₁₃ when I first came here I was properly sized as a 28DD. I’m petite and these bras kept me feeling confident and not shut down with my figure at such a young age.
I don’t really see this place for «strippers/​skanks» and I have friends I have recommended to Sea Cup and Up who are fuller figured and fabulous and they love it as well. I know one is a 40 or 42 °F and her ladies look hella fab.

I have been a customer for several years and they have truly changed my life. I spent many, many, years wearing a bra that was not the right size –all of which I discovered after the two wonderful women running the shop helped get me into the right size. I walked in with a plain white, boring, 38 DD from VC. Of which I had in every color, no lace, no deep v cut styles, no push up cups, and thin straps. I was still paying well over $ 60 for the ugly boring VC ones that I thought I would spend the rest of my life in. Until I founds this amazing store. As soon as I walked in they were both very warm and welcoming. I told them I needed help, my current bra situation was making me miserable. I wanted something sexy and comfortable. Soon both ladies were helping to fit me, only to discover I should have been in a 36 °F. I have purchased well over 7 bras, bathing suits and panties from Sea Cup. The bras alone changed my life. I could not be happier with this store and the owners. They are always professional, polite, helpful, and patient with me when I go in. Its especially nice to have a place like this locally, that provides you with that small business feeling. They want to make their customers happy, and change their lives. You can tell.
I am happy to say that I am now wearing sexy, lace, bras that come in more colors that beige, black or white. My bras make me feel sexy and comfortable all the same time.

The customer service here is awful. The woman working was very snobby, refused to get me a bigger size when I told her when I was uncomfortable, and just told me I was wrong. Very unfriendly from the beginning.

Well, I actually and truthfully have stripper friends from Sarasota as friends (you girls know who you are and a super loud shout out to you)! My wife and I visit Sarasota every winter and have so for over 20 years. We recently found this location about 3 years ago.
Not only do my female stripper friends shop here they also are mothers, wives, girlfriends, sisters and or have other jobs such as bartenders (one is a financial planner).They are not big women but they are big breasted women and some are just simply A C CUP and up, and they love it here, as do I. No, I don’t wear lingerie but I sure as heck bring my wife here and we shop here together. I have purchased underwear and pillows from Sea Cup and Up and have never had an issue with anyone’s attitude. I have to tell you that when I rate a place it’s never degrading the customers of a place. Strippers and skanks are people too and I for one love women of all places of employment and size.
I think you have to find this place and find the amazing lingerie and offerings they have. I like the fact they treat people like you treat them. If you’re respectful then you get it in return and it doesn’t matter if you’re a model, a stripper or a laborer. People are people. I spend money there and will continue to buy my wife the finer things in life when on vacation down in Sarasota.
