Siesta Key Fishing Adventures

I took 4 friends out for a day of off-​shore fishing last Sunday. Eric did his best to make sure that everyone was comfortable, understood what they were doing, and caught fish! We had a wonderful day out on the water, caught all the fish we could eat in the next two days and returned plenty of them to the gulf. The boat is first class as you would expect from a Yellow fin, the very new engines with a combined 600hp will get you there fast and safe the boat will keep you on top of the water and pretty dry, even in good swells. We caught Red Grouper, Mangrove snapper, Amber jack, Bonito, and many smaller snappers as well. I will be booking another adventure with Eric the next time I am in the Sarasota area for sure!

My wife and two sons (9 and 10) found Captain Eric on Unilocal.The Unilocal review looked good and he was just a few miles down the road. None of us had ever fished before and Captain Eric took great care of us, paying special attention to my boys to make sure they had lots of fun and great memories. We caught some awesome fish including red snapper and a 15 lb King Makerel (both delicious using the re pie suggestions from Capt. Eric). We would definitely recommend and afternoon with Capt. Eric. Capt. Eric was Awesome. Easy going and patient w us! Book the charter really last minute and he came thru. Boat is clean and 32ft big. Water wasn’t too choppy and I didn’t get motion sickness. Will definitely recommend. Caught king fish and barracuda.
