My company threw a two day employee appreciation beach BBQ and we rented two jet skis to have at South Lido beach. They sent two instructors to assist everyone for both days! It was absolutely awesome! Everyone had an amazing time and the service was so kind and professional! We all would highly recommend Siesta Key Jet Ski Rentals! Thank you guys for taking care of our people and showing them the appreciation that they earned! Everyone is still talking about the next beach party!

A friend and I decided to get a 2-hour jet ski rental after we were quoted a $ 10 discount(not much, but something) over the normal 2-hr rate. 40 minutes in, my friend’s jet ski broke down and would not start. Luckily, we had waterproof cases for our cell phones and called the office to tell them. It took nearly an hour for their tow-ski to arrive, during which I stayed with my friend as he drifted further into the gulf away from shore. When their guy inspected the ski, the positive battery connector disintegrated. After the LONG5-mph tow back to the rental location, my buddy was refunded, but I was still charged full price. Apparently management feels the thing to do is to abandon your friend and go have fun on your own anyway, because if you choose to stay with someone who is broken down and adrift, you’re still having the fun you paid for. I offered to pay for 1 hour of the rental($ 75), which they declined, saying I had the ski for 2 hours and could have done whatever I wanted. They offered a 2-hours-for-1-hour the next day, which was completely unusable because a) we had to leave town to drive 9 hours home the next day(which they knew) and b) that would involve giving them even more money. The credit card company was unable to help get ANY sort of compromise, and I feel totally abused because it was the rental company’s poor maintenance of their skis that ruined the 2-person outing, and their poor management /customer service that was unwilling to give any reasonable compensation for the negative impacts they caused to my experience. Regular staff was generally friendly, no gripe with the person who finally came to tow my friend in, but very dissatisfied with management, their policies, maintenance and overall quality of experience. Buyer beware, or just go somewhere else.
