I just got the best haircut I’ve had in years from Nicole. She was so thorough and professional, and she gave me exactly what I wanted, while helping me figure out what would look best. She is a perfectionist and it really shows in the finished product. My hair is so much healthier and it compliments my face perfectly. One of my pet peeves is when stylists give you a cut that will look good in 3 weeks rather than when you leave the salon, but Nicole’s cut looked perfect when I walked out, and I can tell it’s going to grow out beautifully too. The free mimosa was such a fun perk. Finally found someone I can trust with my hair. Can’t wait to do balayage highlights with Nicole when I come back!

Love this spa! The people are great and they provide fantastic services. The price is a bit higher than most, but you get what you pay for. I drive an hour for these services!

I chose to have my hair and make up done at Spa Hollywood for my destination beach wedding. I am from Minnesota and was only able to do research online. Madison did my hair and I loved it. It held all day but still looked natural, very pleased.
Lauren did my make up and I cannot say enough great things about her. She was so personable seemed genuinely happy and excited for me. All brides want to look and feel pretty on their wedding day and I’ve honestly never felt more beautiful in my life. If you need to have your make up done in the Sarasota area I would go to Lauren in a heart beat.

Went and got the Island Massage. Very clean, very friendly! Brooke was amazing, you should definitely book with her!!!

Don’t be fooled by the lavish look of this place! August couldn’t have been any ruder. She literally refused to even give me a hair extension consult and after a series of insults towards me, I asked to speak to the manager and instead of letting me talk to her supervisor, she asked me to leave! I feel bad for my hair colorist because I couldn’t even pay or tip her! I would never go back there. They are a one stop shop for spa amenities but extremely obnoxious and straight up mean to their customers. As a New Yorker, I was surprised that I’ve never met anyone as rude as August! What a terrible experience and my mom is the sweetest woman alive and should never be treated like that– especially when the woman clearly had a vendetta against me. Really disappointed in their hospitality… Or should I say the lack there of!

This review is exclusively for the shellac manicure provided by Heidi. Wow! I have reviewed many places and Heidi’s shellac manicures are amazing! They last for at least the two weeks and they are perfect! So happy! :)

Spa Hollywood has the best costumer service!!! I’m always on the go and they always squeeze me in on short notice!!! Everytime I go there I’m in and out and LOVE that! Jennifer Stone is super helpful and knowledgable! Thank you to all at Spa Hollywood!

Let me just say I loved my cut. She did a great job trimming up with my half shave/​half asymmetrical pixi. She cleaned and faded it beautifully. The atmosphere is super posh and they brought me a mimosa while I waited. If you can, go with a referral card for a discount.
The only reason I won’t be going back is because if my hair lady needs a personal assistant, then I can’t afford the place. It was a bit awkward having two people hover over me. The main hair stylist was like pulling teeth to have a conversation with. I am not hard to chit chat with and I’m also not one to talk your ear off. I felt like a redneck though the whole ordeal; her face just said «I’m judging you» and «I’m displeased» the entire time. Then she took a photo of my hair at the end, like we had a blast together and my trendy cut was her idea and she didn’t just trim it up. I’d rather go somewhere else and feel comfortable for less money.

I would not recommend this place for nails. I called and made the appointment for shellac nails but when I got there and sat down with the lady she said she didn’t know how to do shellac and they were doing me a favor by squeezing me in so she wouldn’t have time for that anyway. I made the appointment 1 week prior and no one told me I was being squeezed in. Very rude and non accommodating. Which is not very spa like.

If you need your eyebrows done see Hilda at Spa Hollywood! She is fantastic! Would never let anyone else touch my eyebrows after going to her.

Bae said we were going on a vacation to hollywood. I got souped af but we came here and I was like tf. This isn’t Hollywood. This isn’t even California. This isn’t even the western side of the US. I was boutta go Mel Gibson and curse this lyin «bae» out when the massage thot started givin me the rubbies. DAMN. FINGERS WORKIN MIRACLES OUT HERE ON MY BACK. FEELIN LIKE MOTHER THERESA BE BLESSING SICKLY YOUNG BOYS ON THE BACK OF MY SHOULDERS. FINGERS BOUTTA GO GIVE A SERMON AFTER RUBBIN THIS ASS. Came outta there lookin like Bruce Jenner.

I have been going to spa Hollywood over a year now and love it. Lindsey does my hair and is so good at her job and listens to what I want. She is one of the sweetest girls and very professional! The atmosphere is always fun and full of energy. Lindsey took me from a blonde blonde back to my natural brunette color and then some! Never was there even a hint that I had been blonde before! She made my hair look healthy and like it had never been dyed prior! If you are looking for a clean, professional, and fun place to get your hair done this is the place! She is one of the best hey have and will gladly give you a mimosa right when you sit! ;) Do yourself a favor ladies and go see Lindsey!!!

Lindsay was great. She took the time to suggest what was best for my hair and gave me some great styling tips and products. The product was expensive, but you get what u pay for. It was nectar of the gods. She definately has a repeat customer!

Christy is a goddess with scissors. She is one of the most talented woman I have come across in the sarasota to tampa Bay Area. Christy will from now on be the only woman who cuts, layers or trims my hair. I can’t wait to have her color my hair!
If Christy isn’t cutting your hair, your not getting the best!

Spa Hollywood is a great place! After relocating to Sarasota, I was fearful I would not be able to find a salon to meet my cut and color needs. My expectations were exceeded in both service and atmosphere. Spa Hollywood offered customer service oriented staff and a clean environment. If you’re looking for an honest, knowledgable, and experienced stylist– make and appointment with Brandon Turner. Choosing the right salon can be a tough decision, but with Spa Hollywood AND Brandon Turner it’s really a «no– brainer».

I went there to get my hair done for a big event and after the stylist told me that she used to do hair for weddings at the Ritz & Hyatt, she proceeded to do a «waterfall.» Within an HOUR of being home the curls were gone and half of the braid came out. Had to go my entire party with a simple ponytail. Spent $ 60 on a ponytail.
When the Salon manager did call me, she wasn’t sympathetic at all and tried to give the excuse of Humidity & the fact that this stylist hadn’t styled my hair before. I have been in many weddings and not once has my hair fallen like it did that night. None of those ladies had seen my hair either.
Stay away from this place if your getting your hair done. They clearly have HORRIBLE customer service and stylist who have no idea how to keep hair curled.

August was my stylist and she was fantastic!!! My cut is perfect and is growing in even better. I definitely would return

Was fit in for a same day appointment with a fabulous stylist (Christy) who expertly cut and layered my fine yet curly hair. After several weeks, the layers grew and the cut looked even better! Will definitely be returning for more services.

Got for my wife $ 200 gift certificate.
She went to get her hair done and what a disaster it was.
Color horrible.
Cut even worse.
Selection of the style no comments.
Service for snobs only.
Price from the moon, creative charges, surcharges and fees.
On the top of it mandatory tip for job poorly done.
Less than 24 hours later she had to redo entire creation straight from the horror film.
