Stringer Management

I’ve been a client of Stringer Management and Ray Oliver since 2012. I’ve found Ray to be incredibly responsive to any needs I might have as an absentee landlord (especially important as I was living overseas for three of those years.) When I reach out to him with a question or request, I know that I’ll receive an answer quickly. If a maintenance issue comes up suddenly, Ray handles it before it becomes a larger issue. I’m very satisfied with the service I receive.

Horrible customer service. Unprofessional. Very dissatisfied. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Tanya, you do realize that I am still waiting on you, personally, to return my two emails about the blinds in the living room and dining room that are broken and still do not work, right? Last thing you said to me was you were waiting for the maintenance guy, who came to look at the blinds, to get back to you with measurements and an estimate to fix them. I am tired of having to email you for status reports that is why I stopped. Like I said in my last email, we will fulfill our lease agreement but we will not be renewing. Also, you stated in your last email «Please keep in mind this is an older home therefore everything isn’t going to be in pristine condition, example the drywall where someone might have patched a nail with spackle and didn’t sand it down smoothly properly prior to painting and etc.», you do realize that a lazy painter not sanding after fixing a hole has nothing to do with this «being an older home». Or the 6 inches of rusty water that had obviously been there for a while under the kitchen sink? That’s not «an older home» issue, rather, a non-​observant Property Manager/​Maintenance person. I would think the $ 1750 we pay per month would be enough to cover new blinds and a decent paint job.

It is unprofessional for an employee of a business to communicate with their customer (tenant) through a public forum. This is just validating my review. If you have something you would like to discuss please email me.
On a final note, I reached out to YOU regarding the blinds… that is why you sent the maintenance man… not «your property manager requesting blinds». If you would like me to refresh your memory I can copy and paste the emails on this review or, even better, I can post the pictures of this place when we moved in, along with the move-​in sheet.
You can fix the blinds, that were already broke, when we move out.

Very unhelpful. Didn’t want to help unless there was more money on the table.

Read your contract before signing a lease. They will still your money from the security deposit even if you leave your apartment clean and without damage.

They never get back to you in a timely matter. Not professional at all, how do you stay in business when you cannot communicate with your clients.

Update on my review of last year that Stringer’s owners have reached out to address our concerns and have offered a fair and reasonable solution. Nice to see someone take their reputation to heart.

Robin at Stringer did a great job for us as homeowners renting a house. We owned a property in Sarasota but lived in Connecticut. Stringer literally did everything for us and did it well and always at a reasonable price. We just sold the house and Stringer took care of all the repairs for us. We literally never had to go see or get involved with anything on the house. I would highly recommend Stringer!

They never screen the prospective tenants. If you are breathing and have a checkbook, they will rent to you. Instead of responding to the tenant’s complaints, they forwarded their e-​mails to me. What in the world was I paying them commission for? The last tenant brought suit against Stringer for poor service. My experience with them was a nightmare and heartache. Stringer is lame.
