Went last night with friends. When we got there it smelled as if we were in a nil salon. not an Italian restaurant. Service was good… they brought over leftover focchia from lunch… a bit stale… three of us had fresh pasta which was good but the sauce was a bit tasteless one has the chicken special… it wasn’t bad but it was not special. Wine list in small and inexpensive but uninspiring. not really worth going back.

A place you should definitely put on your must do list. Stumbled upon Supernova Café and was truly delighted. The food was fresh and delicious. The waiter was attentive and we enjoyed his singing.

We happened onto Supernova. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. We both had the pasta and mussels special and it was very good. The service was good. We thought they were new new but the waiter said they’ve been there for over a year. They still have some kinks to work out I thing.

A few of us went in last night for dinner before heading out to a movie. This was our first time here so we tried to order a variety of items and share. We ordered the chicken parmesan, the bolognese, and the penne and sausage dish. We also ordered the roasted vegetables antipasto. All were excellent! The chicken parmesan was grilled with fresh tomato sauce and mozzerella, and served with a side of mixed greens. Not having the heavy breading and the side of pasta made the dish alot lighter and much more enjoyable than the typical preparation. The homemade pasta was also a nice treat! We found the food to be fresh and well-prepared, the prices reasonable, and the service great! It also has a nice wine list. The restaurant is also home to the work of a number of local artists. The artwork on the wall is for sale and provides a nice ambience to the place! They are open for breakfast(coffees, juices, light fare), lunch, and dinner. We will certainly be back to try some of their other dishes!

Definitely new restaurant. Service was slow but friendly, and owner came by the table. Eggplant parm good but eggplant not cooked thoroughly. Pasta bolognese was good, sauce tasted homemade, but they ran out of homemade pasta, and there was too much sauce not enough pasta. Needs work but could be nice addition to downtown Sarasota.
