Over the years, we have purchased many mattresses. Every time we need to do so it’s been with a sense of foreboding. Buying a mattress is somewhat like buying a used car. The sales staff always pretends to be experts and always claimed to be giving you «the best deal».
Our experience at the Mattress Store in Sarasota was just the opposite. Mark and David were professional, calm and more than patient. They clearly had as their goal to make sure that we purchased the mattress that was right for us.
Their product selection is excellent and their prices fair and reasonable. In addition, and perhaps most noteworthy, is the level of service that they provided. They stand behind their products 1000%. Due to my wife’s back issue we needed to visit the store a number of times. Each and every time they were patient, helpful and supportive.
In fact, the first mattress that we had delivered turned out to be a bit too soft for my wife. There was no issue at all with returning the mattress and exchange it for another one that seems to be a much better fit. In fact, the second mattress was less expensive than the first and Mark refunded us the difference.
So in summary we highly recommend the Mattress Store in Sarasota — there is NO better place in the area to purchase a mattress!

We bought a king bed for our rental condo, and we are very pleased with it. Mark is very helpful and friendly, and it was a good price. It was delivered the next day and properly set up, and the delivery guys were good guys. We will definitely buy there again.

This is a great store to purchase from. The mattress I had trouble with was not that old. When I returned explaining the situation, Mark fixed the problem immediately. I will have a new mattress within a matter of days. Mark and Dave stand behind their products and provide excellent customer service. Mark, the owner, is a professional who knows the science of mattresses. Upon arrival He asked me several questions about my sleep issues and patterns and direct me to several mattresses to nap on. After a few days of «napping» I finally made my selection. There was no pressure to buy, no up selling and no time pressure. I highly recommend this store. Ask for Mark.

The best prices in town! Its nice talking to people who know their industry and take the time needed with customers to explain the options. Great customer service and I highly recommend them over any other store in the Sarasota /​Bradenton area.

Must go here when you need a mattress. The owner, Mark, is a resident and strives to please his customers. And they delivered the same day… Four hours after I was in the store! I will return should I need another purchase !!

Great store and Mark, the owner, sells only Chemical Free And Organic Mattresses. I got a king size mattress delivered next day. Unfortunately — my mistake, I got a hard mattress thinking better for back. I missed my softer mattress and he without questions let me trade for Serta Trump iseries mattress which is so comfortable. Keith and Michael, the two delivery professionals, are great and made sure bed which had missing nails was fixed before putting in boxspring. Both do great job. They contribute to Habitat for Humanity too so I gave them some fixtures I was donating.

The Mattress Store in Sarasota is a rare breed. Unlike the hundreds of chain stores, it is privately owned and operated with customers’ health and welfare in mind. The proprietor Mark helped us choose a green mattress made with no chemicals, just the right firmness and stored in temperature controlled warehouse. Most impressive was his responsiveness to our request for delivery at short notice. We may go back for more mattress as we furnish our new condo.

We purchased 1 Serta king mattress set and 2 Serta twin mattress sets from The Mattress Store for our new home. Mark, the store owner, worked with us to choose the right mattresses. He was very helpful and not at all pushy. His prices seemed fair and the mattresses were delivered as promised and even included a cupcake for me as I had mentioned that delivery would be on my birthday! Mark offers a 90 day exchange policy. Toward the end of the 90 days the king bed started to squeak. His men came out and replaced a box spring but noted the problem was the box springs did not completely fill the frame. I spoke with Mark a week later and within a few days we had 2 new box springs – checked to be sure they fully fit the frame. No more squeak. I chose The Mattress Store because of all the good reviews on Google and I am glad that I did. I would use this store again. Mark stands behind his products.

He was incredibly helpful and dealt with all of out needs for a very long time. He was very knowledgable about all of the different brands and his emphasis on organic fibers and chemical free mattresses was definitely a draw. I would highly recommend this store.

Bought a queen mattress/​box springs tonight for our guest room from Mark who was a wealth of information, friendly and patient. More importantly he wasnt trying to push a high end product for the amount of use the bed would get yet keeping in mind comfort and use (as in hubby in the dog house). The price met ours and delivery is in 2 days! We try to support our local businesses as much as possible as well. Mark & family are long time residents involved in the community and thats always good to hear! Shop and compare… you cant go wrong with The Mattress Store!
