Went to the Nail Lab after reading positive reviews and I feel I owe it to the public and inform: Save your money and time.
AVOID at ALL costs!
I was charged $ 89.00 for a mani pedi that took over two and a half ours, the original request of pink and white could not be performed due to lack of supplies, when I questioned the price, I was told «extra filing» was needed? Give me a break! I then noticed that the manicure was awful, all the nails were different sizes and not filed so they were very sharp. I called and asked them to repair and correct and had to wait 35 minutes beyond my scheduled repair time. Again spending another hour and 20 minutes. Besides the posh attractive surroundings, I would certainly skip this one.

Being from Manhattan I’ve been to my share of nail salons. I can say without hesitation that Cynthia was by far the most professional, kind and talented technician I have met. She graciously changed my reservation schedule (I had previously scheduled online) and when I arrived early she accommodated my arrival. Her nail station was immaculate, her tools were new and her attention to detail was extraordinary. More than anything she went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and even helped me pick out a new pattern and style of nail art I had never tried before. I can’t say enough good things about Cynthia and nail lab. I only wish I had her at home in New York City! Thank you Cynthia!

Cynthia is the best! My nails were in terrible shape after walking out mid fill from a place that was doing a terrible job! I immediately booked an appointment with her since she was highly recommended by all my coworkers. I’m so glad I went and will be back! The shape, color, and length were exactly as imagined.

Cynthia is the best nail tech I have ever had. Everything is so sanitary and her color selections are competitive with any salon in the area. She uses only the best products. NEVER GOING TO AN ASIAN SALON AGAIN

Cynthia is beyond incredible! Her place is small, but she still manages to have better polish selections than any large nail place I’ve been too. I always have trouble with my cuticles bleeding when I get my nails done, even when my fingers have been soaking for forever, but Cynthia was so gentle that I hardly even knew she was pushing them back. She gave me the best wedding present ever by doing the most incredible, and most even, acrylic nails I have ever seen and being patient with me in finding the right polish combinations.

I surprised my girlfriend on her birthday with an appointment to see Cynthia, I wanted her to feel pampered. She deserves it. Cynthia took the time to do her nails right and she got very pretty acrylic nails as well as a nice pedicure. Cynthia made her feel very comfortable and so did everyone else that worked there. Clean orderly place with a wonderful staff. Nice local art everywhere, popular music, it sets the tone for a relaxing experience. After she got a facial at the same place. She came out of there glowing. I could not give higher complements to Cynthia and everyone else that works at this place. Thank you!!!

I usually get my nails done at the typical neighborhood «walk-​in» nail salon, but after a bad experience at another salon I decided to research nail salons via Unilocal.I’m SO, SO happy I did because the reviews were right! This IS the Number #1 Nail Salon in Sarasota!!! Here’s why I’m impressed:
1) On-​line Appointments: easy, peasy! I picked my day/​time and then reserved my slot with a debit card.
2) Nice Location: I’m new to this area and so it was a pleasant surprise to discover her boutique is inside of a cute hair salon in a very posh area near DT Sarasota.
3) Quality Spa-​like Treatment: Cynthia paid close attention to each and every nail from her initial assessment of the quality of my nails down to the final topcoat polish. She made a recommendation and then explained/​educated me on what she would do and why. She also used fresh quality products (no odd odors/​smells or old outdated dried-​up nail polishes). The final result was the best nail experience I’ve ever had because my nails and hands looked amazing!
4) Options: I also liked that Cynthia can accommodate the ultra conservative look (French Manicure aka pink & white) to the hip and trendy styles (designs, colors, nail shapes). I’m a housewife so I like to have fun with my nails now especially after years of wearing French Manicures for corporate America. Unfortunately, I have steered away from the fun, cool designs for fear of my nails looking a hot ghetto mess. I am SO happy I have found Cynthia because I love the foil treatment she did: it’s edgy, fun and chic! I’ve received SO MANY compliments and can’t wait to try something new!
5) Price: I was pleased with her competitive price schedule especially for the quality of services received.
Cynthia is very nice, smart and creative and I’m so happy I’ve found her.

Just got posh treatment & blinged out gel on my natural nails by Cynthia at The Nail Lab. It’s private room, no wait time, and best Swarovski crystal products available. I felt very pampered, comfortable & Cynthia explained each step of the process — very knowledgeable. The best thing was I revealed at the end of service that I too own a Salon in NY and applauded her professionalism. We need more businesses out here where passion & exceptional standards are just the start and the finish is a unique experience leaving a client feeling like that can’t wait to return. Kudos!

I absolutely loved this place!!! Cynthia is amazing and so kind! I love her bubbly personality and quality job she did on nails! I am absolutely satisfied!!!

I had an amazing experience with Cynthia! I am traveling for business and had some down time so I did some research and saw good reviews on Unilocal!I am so glad I found her and will definitely be back when I’m here for business. I came in for a mani and loved all of her polish options! A lot of times I go to salons and they only have 1000 shades of pink. Cynthia has lots of varieties of colors as well as foil fun and glitter! Of course she will do a beautiful regular color but lots of fun options if you’re feeling funky!
Her knowledge of nail care was also a big thing for me. I like how she communicated what she was doing any why it was good and healthy for my nails and skin. She uses a variety of different tools for various reasons and has a very gentle touch!
I came back the next day for a pedi! Very happy with the results! Highly recommended!

I’m normally a very nervous person when I get a pedicure. Never really sure how hygienic the tech and the equipment is, I can never just relax and enjoy the process. This was NOT the case with Cynthia.
I was greeted very warmly by Cynthia for my appointment and she was kind enough to do a pedicure on my 8 year old daughter. Cynthia was immediately able to put my daughter at ease and made the process fun. I have never seen my daughter so excited to take care of her nails.
Having witnessed the care Cynthia gave my daughter, I was able to relax and really understand the hygienic process behind an authentic pedicure. Needless to say, I’ve never had one until now. My feet and nails looked amazing. My husband who never notices these things was highly impressed.
I highly recommend going to Cynthia for all of your mani and pedi needs. You’re in the best possible hands!

I had my nails done last thursday and now 6 days later the polish is just barely chipping off at the top and I spent the weekend pulling weeds in a back yard full of shells! I am very impressed, I don’t usually get my nails done because they chip so fast. The pedicure was also great and relaxing and Cynthia was a very nice, professional and friendly person. I would go back for sure!

Just posted a picture of my pedicure. I have had multiple services done by Cynthia on various occasions. I always receive a gel pedicure. I highly recommend her pumpkin pedicure! It leaves your feet baby bottom smooth. what’s even better is her gel pedicures last me 1.5−2months, there is growth of the nail but I have never had a chip. Her gels stay impeccable for well over a month. I will never get a gel done by anyone else. Her services are exceptional. Maybe next time I will try her mobile services! Two thumbs up

It was my first time at «The Nail Lab» and Cynthia was very welcoming. I decided her grand opening in Dec 2014 was a good time as any to check it out.
I opted for the pedicure and she mentioned the pumpkin option for my pedicure. It was a very good option as I’ve never had before. Cynthia was very experienced it seemed and by the end of service I had made up my mind to return when my nails needed to be done. Very affordable and has Valentine’s packages as well.
Overall 5stars! Great job Cynthia! I look forward to my next visit.

Cynthia at The Nail Lab was absolutely fantastic today for my gel manicure! First of all, she is extremely flexible with scheduling– she was available for a 7am appointment on a Saturday morning! Secondly and most importantly, she is a true perfectionist, making sure every nail is just right before moving on. She takes her time, is super friendly in making conversation and overall offered a top rate experience! Also the first time client offer of 50% off any nail service can’t be beat! Definitely Recommend!!!
