Received an organic facial this morning. The service was fantastic. The people were super nice and checked in on me several times to see if I needed anything. The spa itself is a little bit older and the refreshment and snacks were limited. My esthetician was very knowledgable and kind. The organic facial was ok, nothing special but still relaxing

Beware. Although the treatments are top drawer, no one tells you a 20% «service charge» is automatically added to your bill. I cheerfully tipped my nail stylist, only to discover at check out, a tip was added to my purchases. Shame on the Ritz for not letting you know in advance of this policy.

Wow, really luxurious spa day at the Ritz. I went with a male friend and he enjoyed as well. My services included facial(11 out of 10), massage, lunch on the terrace, champagne, and a manicure(another 11 out of 10). The people and services were wonderful, if they did not rush me between services I would have given another star. I will definitely return as this is the standard for any spa.

This is a review of the spa pedicure service. I am fussy about my pedicures and called around to see which nail spa sterilizes its instruments. The Ritz Carlton was the only one I could find that said it steri-paks(sterilizes for individual use). Let me say up front that the nail tech was excellent & gave me a wonderful pedicure. Also, the staff at the spa desk were cordial and professional. Now let me say that, when paying 3 – 4 times the going rate, it is reasonable to expect a high end experience. Not so here. It was no wonder that the nail spa was empty except for me — it was dark & dreary. They were playing some sort of nerve jangling techno-pop, which apparently could not be changed, although they were accommodating and turned it off for me. The ladies room had cleaning equipment stored in it. I was offered water in a plastic bottle(really, Ritz?). Oh and by the way, they had«run out» of steri-paks, so that fell by the wayside as well. No way would I return.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa is a luxurious and relaxing oasis in Sarasota, FL. There is nothing more relaxing than slipping into a comfy robe and being waited on hand and foot like a princess. The Ritz-Carlton Spa offers every type of massage, facial or body treatment you can imagine. Between treatments you can relax in the hot tub jacuzzi, dry sauna, or steam room. During my visit I had a 60 minute massage and a pedicure scheduled. The front desk presented me with a locker key, robe and flip flops and gave me a tour of the spa. The locker room area included a shower area as well a vanity area to fix hair and makeup at. There is also a waiting room with light refreshments and magazines to wait in between procedures. I enjoyed my stay so much and my massage and pedicure were fabulous, but there was some miscommunication about my schedule that day. After waiting for 35 minutes I realized my pedicure wasn’t for another hour. I was also supposed to have lunch on the terrace. When I inquired about what time was lunch scheduled for the front desk had no recollection that I was eating lunch on the schedule. They made up for their error, but I ended up not eating lunch until 2pm because of the mistake.
