After careful deliberation(Internet searches and consultation with one of the owners), I selected this company to restore Mexican tiles. My reliance was based on the claims made on their website and discussions with the owner. The experience was quite disappointing… to say the least!!! The job was a hurried, sloppy affair resulting in a thick unsightly glaze of sealant. Also, when I tried to voice my concerns about the job, I was disrespected. I tried to point out that(1) the old sealant appears to have not been stripped, so resealing the tile after it was washed would result in ugly tiles, and(2) the white wax sealant used was way too heavy and therefore took a long time to dry. When the seal did dry, it left a heavy white wax on the surface of the tile. The owner claimed that the rain(which started very late that night(around 2am)) and humidy caused the sealant to not dry. Experts with«decades of experience», per their website, should know not to start a job if these elements would impact the outcome of the job. I was then told that the white wax sitting heavily on the tile is efflorescence. Not true!!! It is too much wax sealant. I gave this company 2 stars because the owners apologized about the job and returned the next day to try to remedy the situation. I will still have to get another company to try to redo the job.
