Wonderland Hookah Lounge

This place is BS I’ve tried to go 3 Times, never open on time. I’m not talking about the 11:00 on Unilocal !! I’m talking about the 3:00 pm on the door! Last time it was some BS about going to get something! Now sitting here Still not open ! Nothing on the door or on the answering machine about being late ! Really ! small business ! Get real ! Last time ! Learn how to run a business !

Nice clean place with great hookahs. Try the frozen ice tip, it’s awesome. Beautiful equipment, clean interior, clean and great looking furniture, amazing authentic Moroccan tea and Hutch was a great host, came to check up on us and share how the hookah was made and works. You have to get personal hookahs though. But they throw in a drink for free (non alcoholic). Definitely going back. Cheers!

One star because the music is good and the seating is comfortable. However, prices are a rip off. It is not 12.99 for any hookah. It’s 20 for a hookah PER PERSON! None of their flyers say that. And the worst part is the hookah SUCKS!!! It’s weak. One actually tasted like it had no flavor. The only really nice thing is the girl who changed the coals. This place is totally false advertisement. They don’t serve alcohol, but we seen a few of maybe the owners friends with beers. They were in a vip area. I will never return here.

Honestly, if I could give more stars, I would. The owners; they’re fantastic. Extremely nice, quite polite, and super responsive if you have a question of concern. For the life of me, I cannot remember her name, but she usually replaces the coals, and maintains the pipes. She is absolutely wonderful. Super cute, super bubbly, and quite friendly.
The aesthetic of the place is out of this world. You walk in, from the loud Sarasota streets, into this calm, chill room; and it instantly just vibes you. They’re a also privacy curtains around the area, and a «vip» room. The couches are comfortable, and it almost feels like you «melt» into a cushion.
I went with my friend Lou, and I doubt I could’ve had a greater experience. We went in, checked in, sat down, and was immediately serviced. As a personal recommendation, I recommend getting the Moroccan hot tea, with your hookah. It soothes the throat. I got sex on the beach, and he got peach-​mint. You can mix flavours, which is an added bonus! The sotb was really good. And his P-​M was amazing as well. They were super friendly, super nice, and the place is just beautiful. I don’t think I want to try any other hookah lounges, after I found these guys! 5/​5, would definitely recommend to everyone.

Awesome hookah place! The owner is super nice and very accommodating! You pay per person rather than per hookah. So, each person gets a free drink and their own hookah. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good hookah place in the Sarasota area.

This place does not open till at least 4 pm. It says 11 — 1 mon-​thursday, but it’s 4 pm now and still not open. This is pretty inconvenient when you have absolutely no idea of the real time it opens and regardless to say a waste of time as well.

Do NOT go here. Way over priced and they charge $ 10 even if you aren’t smoking… The one staff member is extremely rude and flat out lied to us in an attempt to rip us off big time. I highly recommend Cassablanca on Central about 5 minutes down the road near downtown with much better prices and great service. Horrible experience at Wonderland and would NOT recommend it.

If I could give this place a zero, I would! I heard that the owners mistreat clients and I did not believe it. The owner Hitch seems cool, but he does not say anything while his employee/​family members yell at clients for not paying unstated cover charges. Be warned! If you do not consume around $ 20 worth, they will try to intimidate you into paying a cover charge that is not stated anywhere.
I would not recommend doing business here. Go to the hookah lounge down in south Sarasota. It is worth the trip and avoid the intimidation tactics of these owners that no have unethical business practices.

Yesterday, I went to this location for a last minute birthday celebration. Our group of seven definitely enjoyed it from beginning to end!
Try to think of the miss matching furniture as shabby chic hah. The décor was Moroccan from the curtains to the floor pillows. You see, I love hookah bars. I’ve went to one up to two times a month since I was a freshman in college and I’ve experienced a lot of hole in the walls.
In contrast of those bars, I thought of this location as charming. The music was good, service was great, and what more could you ask for? Decent prices? Yeah, they seem to have that too.
For more fun, ask your host if you can make «hookah bubbles.» You’ll definitely be in for a treat!
Favorite flavor: Purple Haze, Mango, Strawberry Daquiri, Babydoll, and OMG. Enjoy!
