B J’s Wholesale Club

Had a work fundraiser for united way and bought $ 80 worth of burgers at bjs! We needed up not using them and I tried to return them and was advised you can’t return frozen or refrigerated items because they can’t resell them! I get that and was about to leave and the customer service guy told me they would take them back even though they would have to throw them away! $ 80 back to my charity!!! Great business bj’s thank you!!! I am telling everyone I know how great you are! Thanks!!!

Keep in mind you do not save when it comes to electronics and books, They are the same prices as any other store. Where you save at BJ’s is in the food section (not everything though but I’d say about ²⁄₃).
Keep in mind with stores like BJ’s, Don’t bother buying a membership to the store unless you spend hundreds (5 to 6 hundred or more) a month in groceries or if you often buy multiples of a single item. It’s simply not worth it other wise. If you just spend a couple hundred a month on groceries then you are better off sticking to stores like Walmart and Price Chopper because there are no single items available in BJ’s. Only two items or more.

Better than sam’s club.

If it’s possible to use the word «sane» when describing someplace, it applies here. That’s because it can be so much crazier shopping at other BJs in various locations. This one is behind the Wilton Mall, so it’s not surrounded by dozens of other stores and people trying to get to/​from all of them. It’s generally well stocked, and has an adequate number of self-​checkouts which are almost always open.
So why only 4 stars? It’s because it doesn’t have quite as large an inventory as some of the other ones. For example, the one in Albany has an adjacent liquor store, and some of the ones in New England carry a larger line of products. It’s not meant to be a slight against this particular store… it’s just a way of comparing it to other BJ’s.

BJ’s is so much fun! I have had a membership on and off over the years and it is worth it when I have it. I live about 50 minutes away so that is why I don’t go more often. It is large, clean, has tons of great things to look at, and is so much fun just to walk around.
I got a coupon for a 2 month free membership in the mail and I want to use it. Perhaps buy 20 cans of black olives. It is out by the mall so it is not out of the way and has more than plenty of parking. I like the self check out and did I mention they have Slushies?

This BJ’s is huge and has been here for years. I love this location. Short lines, free samples, no crowding and extra wide isles!
Today I got a free paring knife for watching a 5 min demonstration. No I didn’t get suckered in buying the entire set, but my sister did.
They usually have prices better than WalMart. I know because I price compared a few items with the nearby WalMart. Only thing is I don’t have room for much in my tiny NYC Apt so I rarely shop here, I only buy the necessities and small items I can store or use up quickly.
We got my dad’s huge sheet cake here last year for his 60^th Bday. They screened a large picture of him on the cake and the cake was also very good. They offer a choice of whipped cream frosting or butter cream. We chose the whip cream and it was light and fluffy and not too sweet.
New self checkout lines make checking out even faster.
