Pizza dough not cooked. Staff inattentive. Just sad representation of NY Pizza. Would never come here again

Consistently disappointing. The consistency of the crust is subpar, and each time I get a slice or a pie it tastes like it’s been left out for a couple hours before being served. This is microwave pizza.

I enjoy the sweet crust on the pizza. Good for a late night bite. Good location. Usually serves quickly. The staff is usually nice

I usually stop here for my lunch during school, and it opens at 10 which is very convenient for me since I have 9:13 — 10:44 lunch every other day. Not many places are open so early for lunch! Also very good pizza, $ 5.50 for 2 huge slices and a drink which is a steal. Anywhere else on Broadway I’m paying 7 to 10 dollars for that. Also very good service, nice place to sit down for a few minutes too! Love it here.

I’m going to agree with Daniel B — the crust is individual to the point of being slightly peculiar– but for me the toppings are what make these pizzas satisfying, and there are always a nice selection of styles. In my opinion this is good pizza and good value.

I got a few late night slices here after going to Mingle after my friends’ wedding reception at the Polo grounds. The slices hit the spot. I got a veggie one as well as a plain cheese. Tasty NY pizza, even upstate. It was $ 14 for two slices and two drinks.

Last night I ordered takeout from D’andreas. It’s a very rough looking place. The service was OK. They weren’t rude, but they weren’t especially nice; if that makes sense. The pizza was a great price. I ordered the Pepperoni pizza, and it was actually very good! Little flaws here and there but overall it tasted great! Cooked to absolute perfection! Not to mention, it only takes about 20 minutes after ordering for you to get your food, takeout or delivery.

Used to be good pizza, if you like a sweetened crust; recent stop there revealed the same message I had etched in a layer of dust atop one of the upright soda coolers three years ago. This place is vintage with aggregated fifth worthy of ancient Egyptian archaeological excavations, without any of the historical significance. Do not order from the warmed-over cardboard crust selection on display; some of. That is unsold product from a few days ago. Only thing fully baked is the obviously stoned staff. Avoid.

stopped by to grab a slice and the pizza looked like it had been sitting out all day, I asked a couple questions about which pies were the most fresh and the guy behind the counter lost his cool and freaked out… not too sure what that’s all about but if that’s how they treat customers it’s best to avoid this place… Spring Street Deli has great pizza, go there instead

Sausage pizza with hardened cheese from sitting out on display too long… check Stale crust… check Non Italian looking staff?.. check Mechanically separated fried chicken parts on the BBQ pizza?.. check Wilting crust when picked up… check More Saratoga mediocrity? Check check check…

I stopped in at D’Andrea’s Pizza in Saratoga Springs recently. The atmosphere inside sort of reminds me of a typical college town pizza place, which is an order at the counter place with several kinds of pizza slices on display, self serve table seating, lots of photos on the walls, and a flatscreen TV. Anyways, I decided to get 2 Foccacias to go using a BOGO coupon. I ordered a Chicken & Hot Cherry Pepper Parmigiana and Eggplant Provolone Parmigiana with the total just under $ 7 with tax and discount. The wait for the order to be all set was about 13 minutes after ordering since these sandwiches are oven baked. The size of each foccacia was pretty big, though mainly two thick slices of fresh baked herb bread, which were slightly chewy/soft and had a sweet and slightly salty flavor. The fillings in each foccacia were good. The chicken parm had the standard deep fried breaded chicken tenders, peppers, tomato sauce, and melted mozzarella and the eggplant parm had thin breaded eggplant slices, tomato sauce and melted provolone, good flavors with the sweet foccacia bread. On a future visit, I will have to order the pizza, though the pizza here tends to have a sweet flavor. There are several pizza places in New England that offer sweet tasting pizzas which are actually pretty good. I would give D’Andrea’s Pizza another try!

As we continued our journey to reach our goal of trying new restaurants, my beloved boyfriend and I decided to try this place just a few short days after our first one. As we approached the establishment it had a divey feel to it but that didn’t stop us from going ahead and trying what their food had to show. I had the BBQ chicken pizza and he had the buffalo chicken pizza yet even though the prices were cheaper the quality was more for the drunk crowd. The buffalo chicken was greasy and had a weird taste to it but their honey infused dough was worth our trip. Not saying we didn’t enjoy our experience but we probably won’t be back until we out about around Caroline for a late night bite.

I believe D’Andrea’s Pizza is the best pizza in the area! I have been to there very late at night after bar hopping, during lunchtime, and for dinner. I have never ordered delivery so I can’t say anything about that. Every time I’m in town I make sure to stop and grab a slice or two. The pizza options are great! They have a little bit of everything and it’s all great! The chicken, bacon, ranch pizza is my favorite. The prices are wonderful as well. They have a special almost everyday. If you follow them on facebook during the school season they give a code word and you can get a free slice. They offer off street parking for customers and it’s open very late. The location is also a plus too. I will be back the next time I’m in Saratoga.

I grew up loving D’Andrea’s pizza and when I come back in town to visit it is always a stop I have to make. The Buffalo Chicken pizza is the best and the BBQ chicken is great too. Staples in my diet as a kid. That said, it isn’t quite the same as I remember, which doesn’t mean I’m not going to keep coming back but it seems to me the recipe has changed. The crust has always had a sweetness to it but now it is sweeter than ever.

This pizzeria on Caroline Street is exactly what everyone expects; cheap, below-average pizza, and open very late on the weekends. The sugar-infused pie crust, although very popular with many locals, was a complete disappointment for me. Granted, I may not have enjoyed this pizza often enough at 3AM, to bring out its true greatness, or paired it with an evening of binge drinking to help the sweet flavors of this pizza taste and feel like trip to Willy Wonka’s. After several visits to D’Andrea’s Pizza, I’m convinced they are not serving anything special at this pizzeria, especially since I’ve had better pizza from my local grocer’s freezer. Yes, their signature BBQ chicken and bacon-ranch pizzas are a welcome change from the boring pizzas I’ve had at other places, but the quality of these pizzas would drastically improve if they didn’t add toppings that make me fear a possible heart attack after eating one. Their lunch special is arguably the best deal in town, but I’d highly recommend you order a freshly-made pizza, before picking out single slices to-go. Take a long look at the pizza slices that may have been sitting out since 10AM, and ask yourself — do you really want to risk that pizza coming out of you as quickly as you ordered it? I’ll admit that my order of over-sauced Buffalo wings was surprisingly good and their«secret sauce» has a reasonable amount of heat. I’d seriously consider ordering wings from D’Andrea’s for my next football party, as long as their delivery service remains free. See you elsewhere.

Was really hoping to find delivery place in Saratoga I liked. Not this place. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, even if its free. Checked out the menu online and got together an order for delivery to my home. When they rang me up the price did not match what I was looking at on the website and was a few bucks more. The guy on the phone was like, «yea, the website hasn’t been updated in a while» and wouldn’t honor their own price. Then I spoke with the manager cause, it was weird. Finally figured out the guy on the phone took my order wrong and instead of a pizza with two toppings, beacon and chicken, he added ranch. I made it clear I did not want ranch on the pizza. Told him where I lived and clarified that it is the street and not drive. An hour and a half later, the delivery guy arrived and said he went to the drive first and not the street. He proceeded to drop my salad on the ground on my doorstep and hurried off. I opened the pizza and it was chicken and beacon &RANCH all over it! I had spoken with a MANAGER and placed my order so I was usre they would get it right. Boy was I wrong. I called them up and spoke to the manager and let him know that he had the pizza I specifically asked not to get delivered, and, he sent his driver to the place I specifically asked not to go. The pizza was ok, but covered in ranch, the wings were kind of nasty and the salad was small and weak. Not sure how these guys stay in business. I declined the manager’s offer for a free pizza. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, even if its free.

For what it is, a late-night spot with really cheap pizza, it’s not bad. Any place where you can sometimes get a large cheese pizza for $ 6 and change is a rarity. That said, the pizza is just-OK, not great. The good news is, you get what you pay for. EDIT(10÷31÷12): I’ve come here a couple of times for subs since my initial review, and the subs are much better than the pizza. They make a really good Philly cheesesteak, in particular, and I’d probably upgrade to 3.5 stars if given the ability to.

We ate here for an impromptu lunch and were pleasantly surprised. And as a jaded New York City-style pizza whore, that’s saying quite a bit. They run a special every weekday for two slices and a drink for under $ 4, which is unheard of elsewhere. I had amazing BBQ chicken and a chicken, bacon ranch slices that both rocked the house. Overall, this location is right in the heart of the city of Saratoga and it’s highly recommended. Especially after a night of drinking — and since we no longer have Sidelines Pizza bagels to soak up the booze, we need D’andrea Pizza as a new alternative.

Finally tried the lunch special today and it was A-OK. It’s a great value as others have mentioned and I want to point out that your two slices are BIG slices, you get your pick from a dozen or more varieties sitting on the counter, and the included drink is a 20 ouncer from the cooler, not a watered down fountain drink. I had the artichoke and chicken(2 stars) and hot peppers(4 stars). The crust does indeed have a bit of sugar in it, like a McDonald’s hamburger bun, but I didn’t find the taste off putting. The pizza wasn’t quite warm enough for my taste, but that’s easy to fix. Next time I will ask them to leave it in the oven longer, or toddle up the hill and use my own toaster oven

Sweet pizza. And I don’t mean that in the Napoleon Dynamite way. I mean, the pizza is actually sweet. Oddly so. In my opinion unpleasantly so. Perhaps as christopher n. suggests it just«takes a little getting used to.» Maybe if you are out drinking and this pizza isn’t so much pizza but gloriously greasy and stomach soothing white flour and cheese, you might like it better. I can safely say the unique pizza crust is no good as takeout, but improves noticeably(crisps up and gets a bit of char to cut the sweet) when ordered by the slice and eaten on-site. Although not enough to make me want to cultivate a taste for it.
