We waited until the last minute to make an appointment for prom hair and make up and took a chance on Fusion because we couldn’t get in our regular place. We were not disappointed! The staff did a fabulous job and my daughter was stunning. What a beautiful salon and outstanding staff! We will be back…

Melanie Thomas Smith is by far the greatest hair colorist/​cutter I have ever had the pleasure of styling my hair. I moved to Saratoga not knowing a soul, and I stopped three different people on the street because I liked their color and cut. They all, independently, said Melanie at Fusion did my hair. She literally has changed my life and my self perception of myself. Her color sense and cutting skills are completely unparalleled. For the last few years I have been flying back to Saratoga to get my hair done by Mel. If there were 10 stars Available I would rate her an 11+

If you’re looking for a blowout — this isn’t the place to go. I went into Fusion last minute for a blowout. The salon is nice and they use Moroccan Oil products but unfortunately I won’t be returning. After my hair was blown out — it was board straight (and I don’t mean to be mean but it was something I could have styled myself with a paddle brush, not normal quality blowout that makes you feel good). So when I approached the front desk and told the woman I wasn’t really happy with how it looked she told me she thought it looked nice and gave me my total. I kept trying to tell her I wasn’t happy and eventually she told me I could pay ANOTHER $ 25 for them to run an iron over it to fix it. I would rather pay a new salon than pay the same one to redo the job I had already paid for, so I quickly told her no thank you and went around the corner to the salon there on Railroad and had them fix my hair (for cheaper than $ 25). So all in all I ended up having to pay 2 separate stylists to do a simple blowout. I would not recommend this salon.

I’m from out of town I popped in to see if I could get my hair & makeup done for a wedding last minute of course, they were very accommodating and got me in same day. The women who blew out my hair was FANTASTIC she did an awesome job. However my makeup left much to be desired and was $ 50 not worth it, I had to literally go over it myself.

One of the loveliest experiences that Fusion offers is a makeup session with Melanie Ghobrial. After getting my hair colored and cut by the very-​talented Melanie Thomas-​Smith, Melanie Ghobrial, Fusion’s resident make-​up artist, then makes my face look so much better than when I entered the salon. I look forward every month to my double Melanie visit! These two ladies are very, very talented.
Additionally, Laura’s entire staff, including Jessie, Megan, & Rebecca make every customer feel special. It is a delight to walk into Fusion!

Lori Boyle, of Fusion, gave me the best Classic Vidal Sassoon Bob. I have received so many complements and it is the easy style ever. But I can dress it up too. Thanks Lori, great job.
