The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Definitely would recommend if you’re in town!

An absolutely charming little place. Very cozy. There is a feeling to Ravenous, like it’s from a different time and a different place. They have a surprisingly good beer list. It’s not super long but they have some good micro brews on hand. The fries are double cooked so they’re extra crispy, aka extra yummy. When it comes to food, I’m generally cringe when something is described as «savory». Calling something savory means you’ve taken something that’s usually delicious and made it gross. I was nervous about the savory crepes, but lo and behold, Ravenous delivered. My Sweet Sonia’s crêpe with chicken sausage and apple slices was absolutely on point. I could very easily taste that it was made with love and I loved tasting it! This might be my new favorite place in Saratoga for a light afternoon fare before a walk in the park. I would stay away from the mini dessert crepes though as my strawberry one was very disappointing. The size, which is absolutely tiny, is fine for the price but it was definitely missing a proper crêpe sweetness to it. I’ll definitely be returning to try a full sized dessert one soon!

We went in for a Sunday afternoon snack and were seated immediately by our friendly waitperson. I order the pomme frites with aioli and my bf ordered the poutine. Unfortunately, the potatoes were a bit overdone in both dishes(hence 3 and not 4 stars). The aioli was really, really tasty. BF said the cheese curd and gravy were also good. We ordered a mini lemon crêpe for just a couple bites of sweetness to end our snack. I’m not usually crazy about lemon but I think in this case, I would enjoy having a go at a regular sized one next time. The high point was the glass of Moroccan Ice Tea I ordered. Delicate, refreshing, just a hint of honey. I ran home and googled it so I can try to replicate it. I’ll drink buckets of it all summer.

Soft opening and they hit it out of the park! I had the vegan tacos and they were incredible. Best I have ever had. So fresh and flavorful. My husband had the fish tacos and a Nutella crêpe. He loved them. Maria, a first time waitress, could not have been sweeter or more adorable. Great location in the heart of the Saratoga Art District. Great atmosphere with classic rock music playing overhead. Can’t wait to see the full menu, we will definitely be back!

My husband and I were visiting Saratoga Springs this past weekend and based on the reviews and love for crepes decided to check this place out! First off we we had a great server who answered all of our questions and was quite attentive! We started with their pomme frites and 4 house made dipping sauces! All were great with the fries and was a great way to start the evening! I had the cordon blue crêpe and the husband had the Mexican crêpe can’t recall the name and both were delicious! We ended the meal sharing a dessert crêpe and it was lovely as well! If you are in the area stop in here!

This is a staple while I was there. Dates, parental visits, group dinners, whatever. Its hours are a bit of a pain, but if you can get in at a good time, its cozy and efficient. The crepes are the best. My girlfriend says they’re the best she’s had outside of Paris. They’re affordable, but a bit pricey, although you definitely get what you pay for. I’m not a sweets lover but even the sweet crepes often catch my attention. Definitely try this out if you’re new in town.

Small place, but not crowded for a weekday lunch. The crepes were delicious. I got the Divine Decadence and tried the Banana-Fo-Phana. I was definitely happy with my choice, but the banana was pretty good too. The frittes were recommended to us, and we tried the garlic mayo dipping sauce, but I didn’t think they were that great, just normal fries to me.

Excellent service… Even better food. The crepes are buttery and flavorful, Premium ingredients on the inside. Their Moroccan tea was eclectic and refreshing. We also had the poutine which was really good. Next time we will try the dessert crepes(we were too stuffed from the poutine and entrée crepes). All the menu items looked very appetizing it’s a shame we didn’t have room for dessert. Definitely will be back. Several times.

If you can’t decide between a sweet or a savory crêpe this is the place to go! Whichever route you choose, the crepes are delicious. The only things is, they don’t really stuff the crêpe with a lot of «stuff.» If you’re the type of person who needs a BIG hardy meal in the morning, this won’t be very filling for you. If you choose to eat here anyway, I’d go savory since they come with a side salad while the sweet crepes don’t. Their crepes are made fresh upon order so while they taste great, it takes at least a half hour for the food to arrive. While you’re waiting I would recommend ordering a batch of their pommes frites(French fries deep fried twice to be extra crispy) with one of the various sauces available for dipping. The garlic aioli was phenomenal. Service was the only element that was really lacking in this restaurant. There were only about 4 employees working on a Sunday morning and though they were very courteous, it took a good 20 minutes plus before I was asked if I wanted a refill on water. Our waitress was also MIA for a long time before she took our order, and after delivering the meal. They would benefit from hiring a few extra hands to keep service moving, but all in all its a good place to eat.

The food and service were both incredible. I am unable to eat gluten, and the owner was happy to tell me which crepes were available in gluten free. I had the Ratatouille and it was delicious! My boyfriend had the Taj Mahal crêpe, and was also impressed. I would definitely recommend this place 5⁄5

I’ve had their crepes as takeaway, and they were quite yummy, but actually going in was a revelation. This isn’t a place to take your vegan friends… unless they like Pommes Frites as a meal… in which case they will be thrilled. Your gluten free friends, however, will rejoice! Let me tell you– if all I had was Ravenous’ frites, I’d be as happy as a happy clam. Ravenous is very small with a small open kitchen. If you don’t have reservations(PS you can get reservations) and it’s brunch you might wait a while. The wait didn’t seem long to me… not like some of the other weekend joints around, but we came at the end of brunch(which looked amazing). The crepes take a while, so if you are in a hurry, this place is not for you. Here you relax, converse, drink a beverage and let your food digest. You can have wine, beer, ninepin cider, lemonade, tea, espresso and sparkling water and PROSECCO! Their crepes are part buckwheat part white flour; however, you can get the 100% buckwheat(gluten free) crepes also. This isn’t celiac friendly. There will be cross-contamination. The options are amazing. Lots of non-meat otions. There is a prix fixe menu: one reg. crêpe(3 choices), a small frites cone, and a petit sweet crêpe. I had the asparagus/mushroom crêpe, and the Nutella sweet. My husband got the asparagus/ham/cheese crêpe and a lemon curd sweet. The food will hold you for a whole day. I came after a work out and was famished(ravenous?), but couldn’t finish my meal. I took most of the crêpe home. The service was good– very pleasant but quite overwhelmed. You might argue that they are understaffed– but there just wouldn’t be enough room for any more people! Again– don’t be in a hurry. There isn’t wifi that I could see. That might annoy some people. Don’t miss Ravenous if this kind of food is your thing. It’s a total gem in downtown Saratoga.

We just had to go back! And it was so good! The pommes frites are a MUST, so naturally we ordered them to start, and obviously we had the large, because there is never too much! We accompanied them with pesto mayo and chipotle bbq mayo, both delicious but my favorite remains the sesame miso. For dinner I had the Upper West Side, salmon and cream cheese, and it was very good! My boyfriend had the Adobo Pork, which was also delicious. We both devoured every bite, as expected. We finished with a Banana-Fo-Phana dessert crêpe with Nutella and banana to share. It was a perfect light sweet ending to a delicious meal.

You guys. These fries. So. Good. I just want to dive into one of those little paper cones full of their frites and live there. I always have to pick some up – definitely try the dipping sauces. It’s a pretty easy snack to take to go and walk around town with, too.

Never had a chance to try. The host was rude and it was winter an tried to kick us out of the restaurant saying there is a waiting line. Even though we clearly saw two people sat themselves. Oh well I will never know if the food is any good. This isn’t NYC no need for the brashness

Cute, cozy place with great crepes! Definitely going here again. I had the hot apple cider which was perfect and the Greek savory crêpe which was to die for!!! I am already craving it again. Hostess and wait staff were very warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place for its food and vibe to tourists.

The taste and quality of the food are not the reasons for this low rating. My second apple cider was just right for such a cold evening. The cider had been steamed and garnished with an orange slice. When choosing the entrée crêpe, I picked the crêpe fromage with gruyère cheese, roasted chicken, and béchamel. It was delicious, so I had to savor every bite. My dessert crêpe was the lemon blossom. This crêpe was scrumptious as well! It was filled with lemon curd, dusted with powdered sugar, and had a sprig of fresh mint that topped off a side of whipped cream. Two stars are due to such poor service. I trekked into Ravenous on a Friday(01/22/2016) evening. The waitress seated me and I asked if the restaurant had a non-alcoholic apple cider. She said yes and brought me a glass of cold apple cider. Initially, I did not think about the fact that I had been served cold apple cider on a frigid evening. This aspect hit me half way through the drink. Honestly, my mind was in other places. That afternoon, I had flown to the Albany International airport from another part of the U.S. for a close friend’s funeral service on Saturday morning. After arriving, I transferred to three different CDTA buses with an eventual drop-off in Saratoga Springs. The waitress asked for my order and then proceeded to correct my pronunciation of béchamel. I was thinking about how unneeded her action was. When my dinner plate arrived, I did not have anything to drink with the meal. I had to ask her for a glass of water which she then proceeded to never refill. During this time before she returned, I noticed a card on my table advertising that the restaurant had apple cider. When she arrived with my glass of water, I asked her for a ‘hot’ apple cider. She did as I requested and prepared ‘hot’ apple cider. I was wondering — ‘what is her bad attitude all about?‘ While ordering the dessert crêpe, the waitress seemed less hostile. After finishing, the checked arrived. I placed cash on the table and was asked if I had smaller bills which I didn’t. I said, ‘no.’ The waitress then informed me that the restaurant wasn’t a bank. But then, she was able to easily make change for me. It was tossed on the table and she said. ‘here.’ No check returned with my change. I asked her for my check and she grudgingly brought it to the table. I had been charged for two ‘hot’ apple ciders. Then, I reviewed the check and my change to learn if everything was as it should be. Since this waitress had a nasty attitude, I left her the stated minimum tip of 15%. Pity that a wonderfully cute little restaurant has such a rude waitress… Life is short, and it is so pointless to be this petty. This was my first visit to Saratoga Springs and everyone else that I encountered was very warm and hospitable.

Holy crêpe! Talk about a party in my mouth! I’ve had more than a handful of crepes at various creperies all over the world and the crep-e-xperience here is special! The cozy atmosphere is something between a French bistro and café. The fun part is watching them make your crepes in the open kitchen while munching on their delicious pomme frites. The frites were crisped up just right and the dipping sauces give them more than life. The dipping sauces are a-la-carte for 75 cents each but are worth it! We tried the curry mayo(stronger and slightly thicker than ones I’ve had before) and pesto mayo(creamy and garlicky). I enjoyed both very much as did my companions. An order of medium was plenty to share between three. I had the Taj Mahal: curry spiced chicken, apples, cauliflower, onions, and raisins. The chunks of curried chicken were moist and flavorful, the fruit complemented the savory, and the cauliflower was tender(not mushy!). I was glad that the kick of spices were not overwhelming and rather a beautiful blend of exotic-ness. My two friends had chosen the same thing… the Upper West Side: smoked Atlantic salmon, cream cheese, and scallions. I did steal some of their crêpe and it reminded me of bagel with lox(minus the capers). I noticed that the crêpe itself was a little more chewy and tough to cut through, unlike other crepes I’ve ever had. It’s not a bad thing but I tend to like mine softer. The crepes came with a side green salad and they have Saratoga Olive Oil on every table for all your olive oil and balsamic vinegar needs. We didn’t get to try the sweet crepes as dessert this time, but it is certainly attractive. One word to sum it all up, delicious! So if you want a crêpe-tastic time, definitely give Ravenous a try! On a side note, if you can’t find parking on Phila St next to the creperie, try finding a spot in the parking garage next door!
