Walgreens

This place was off to a bad start by not handling my mom’s pneumonia booster shot very well. The first time she went, they had run out of the vaccine, and they told her they’d contact her when it came in. They never did, and ONE MONTH later, she went in on her own to inquire. They at least admitted they screwed up, and she did get her booster shot. It wasn’t obvious to me she needed to do the paperwork all over again, though yeah, they do need verification you don’t have a cold, and stuff like that.
The wait allowed me the time to check out the rest of the store. It’s well laid out, clean, brightly lit, and it has a private patient room for shots and consultations. But for me, that’s as far as it goes. Everything here is overpriced, including the beer (beer???). I found every single item I checked cheaper at the nearby Target, and often even Hannaford.
This place is a good pharmacy, especially if it’s for standard-​priced things or for items your medical plan covers. I’m not keen on spending my own money for other items here.

Your normal Walgreens in the big shopping area of Saratoga Springs. I came in during the evening and the workers were all over the place. One was on the phone and others were putting items on the shelf. No one was at the register when I came up to buy things.
The negative to this is the parking lot is only accessible off of Rt 50, not from the Walmart side. I drove around many times and had to walk across the grass in order to get to the Walgreens.
