A Walk in the Park

Sarah has been walking our dogs Dooby and Maggy for quite a while now and I don’t know what I would do without her. She keeps owners at ease with updates and text messages and she always lets me know when she will be out on vacation (which can be hard to find a backup in a pinch). I really appreciate her help with my boxer who can be quite a handful and is full of energy. It also helps that she is very knowledgeable about dogs and dog behavior. Our dogs are always happy when I come home.

Very disappointed. We booked her several months out for a vacation. She did a nice job for our first vacation. However, when I emailed her to confirm that she would still be sitting for our next vacation, she suddenly canceled on us over email. There was no discussion of alternative person or an attempt to talk to us over the phone. I agree that she’s good with the animals, but not 100% reliable. If you are booking a house/​pet sitter, you need to know that they will follow through.

We recently went out of town and needed someone to watch our little indoor kitty. The usual person we used charged almost double the rate Sarah charges and charged us for pick up and delivery of the key, which Sarah didnt do. Everything went smoothly, our cat Ruby seemed to be in a chipper mood when we came home and we even got emails and pictures of Ruby while we were gone. Overall it was a great experience and was most importantly very easy!

Sid and Winnie are so happy when they come back from their walks with Sarah at A Walk in the Park. It is such a comfort to know that they are in such caring and competent hands. My dogs are my life and Sarah treats them like they’re hers, as well. I have two very happy and tired dogs at the end of the day; we are so fortunate to have Sarah in our lives!

My wife and I have a very active lifestyle and sometimes leave for extended periods of time. Our small zoo makes this difficult for us to do. Luckily there is Sarah with A Walk in the Park available to save us! I would place our trust in Sarah in the same regard I would someone in my immediate family. She has a dog herself and her love for animals is evident.
She will accommodate your needs and will dog sit, stop in for quick potty breaks or even take them on long walks or to the dog park. She does it all with a smile!
We have two dogs, a hermit crab, a pac man frog and a russian tortoise and she cares for all of them when we are gone! Food, water and most importantly human presence keeps our animals happy when we can’t be there for them.
I cannot recommend her enough!
