Great food. Can be packed at times, but they have great selection of food and reasonable price.

Their seafood tacos are pretty legit but I only went for their calamari tacos which were great tasting but kind of a simple idea. It was good by any means but I wish there was more to it. The calamari was sort of soggy and not enough salt on em’ I thought. Otherwise, I thought the calamari taco was ok.

Sadly — I arranged to have this truck come to an event this past Saturday and they were a no show, I even emailed twice during the week to confirm– radio silence. When I called Saturday morning to find out where they were the mother answered and said the truck was broken at the mechanics. Extremely disappointed in the lack of communication. The customers love this truck so we were all bummed they didn’t tell us they weren’t coming We were counting on food.

Tried this place out at a food truck event and was really impressed. All the ingredients tasted really fresh which made the food super yummy. Pros: + Really really delicious food! The fish in the tacos was so nice and juicy and perfectly crispy on the outside! + The Wabo Quesadilla is tasty too. They don’t skimp on the seafood at all! They fill the quesadilla with calamari, shrimp, and fish, which at first I was skeptical about, but they complemented each other really nicely. I also hate when you get to the end of the quesadilla and there’s only tortilla left but that was not the case for this one which I really loved. + The salsas and sauces are really good too Cons: — Kinda expensive. 3 tacos for $ 8 and the Wabo Quesadilla is $ 10. Overall: If I ever saw this truck again I would without a doubt order some more quesadillas and tacos!

This truck came by my work this week and I have to admit, it was one awesome and extremely good truck! I got the asada fries, shrimp taco and calamari taco. The fries were bomb! The asada, not so much. Didn’t ask for chicken replacement, but I think the chicken fries, if possible, would be better. Shrimp taco was amazing, very authentic and flavorful. The shrimp was juicy, nicely fried and coated with great flavors. Kind of tasted like walnut shrimp? The shrimp taco is the best shrimp taco I had. Calamari taco was okay, the calamari was good, not too fried like many places and was cooked perfectly. In a taco? It was a bit different, but still good! Cant wait for this truck to come back!

Oh man, I don’t even like fish and I absolutely love their fish tacos. I bought the little taco trio with two fish tacos and one shrimp. All excellent. Pro tip: Just order two taco trios from the start, because otherwise you’ll just end up standing in line to buy another one anyway.

The fish tacos with their Wabo sauce are delicious, I can’t get enough of them and recommend that you definitely try them, they have layers of flavor with good complexity and and unique flavor profile. Their fish and chips are rather ordinary, the fish itself is good but the batter is pedestrian. It’s slightly crispy but had no distinct flavor that I can detect. The Friday were disappointing, I asked them how they rate their fries and their response was that they are great, they aren’t. They were soggy, the texture was kinda tough like they were old or dried out and they had a distinctly unappealing flavor, as if they were fried in very old oil that had been used for frying fish a million times. I don’t recommend that fish and chips. Their cheese quesadilla is also very ordinary, it features bland cheese and the tortilla is warm but not crispy, so it’s also disappointing. I think their fish tacos are the star if the Wabo show, try them and you’re likely to be very happy.

Lulu, Hector and their team are amazing! They are so nice and accommodating. Their food is absolutely delicious. We hosted an event with 150 people — everyone LOVED the food. Their carne asada, chicken, fish, and veggie options are exceptional. I heard great feedback from meat eaters and vegetarians. They even made churros for us! Very very pleased! Thank you!

Just left the Moveable Feast in Morgan Hill. While there were 7 other trucks to choose from, I’m glad I chose this one! I ordered the seafood taco trio for $ 8(one fish, one shrimp & one calamari) and I was pleasantly surprised! All three were super delish! All of the seafood was incredibly fresh & tasty. I will definitely have to hunt this truck down again!

Very good service! I had the Asada Fries, and my son had the chicken nachos.(No we didn’t try the fish tacos). They were both pretty good. Don’t know that I would order them again, but I will definitely be going back to try the fish tacos. I was most impressed that the nachos wee made with freshly made chips. So delicious.

Meh. Nothing to write home about, but some of the fish was pretty delicious. I got the Wabo Nachos with an assortment of fish, I remember disliking the cod but I loved the shrimp! My co-worker got a few fish tacos and she loved them. Overall I would probably try this spot again and try something new!

4÷30÷15(update): I haven’t had fish tacos/burritos in a long time so I was pretty happy this truck came today, especially since I looked back and saw I gave them a 4 last time. Unfortunately, I’m thinking I rated them too highly. Here to me is the 5, the best of the best: That place has the most awesomenest fish tacos/burritos I have tried yet, anywhere(well, in America anyway.) The fish is super meaty, and has a perfectly crispy shell, and to top it off, it’s cheap! Well, what about Wabo’s… 1. Fish Burrito $ 9: So, the first thing that struck me was that the fish was mushy. Absolutely no crunch. The fried coating has dissolved into a pile of mushy doughy flour. But, since there isn’t much fish compared to the other stuffings I suppose I don’t get too much of a mouthful of mushy doughy flour. But yeah, bad coating and relatively little fish. Now, looking back at my notes of their fish tacos, I even noted then that much of the coating was mushy. So, stuffed into a burrito the problem is very exacerbated since the fish would smothered in a very moist environment. Taco Nazo’s on the other hand was still super crispy, and there’s a ton of it too – every bite was like 80% fish while Wabo’s was like 20% fish. The rest of the stuffing, mostly yellow rice, was alright, but didn’t make up for the lack of fish. Still overall it was edible. I don’t recall Nazo’s price but I am pretty sure it was a few bucks cheaper too. Anyway, not the best fish burrito. 4⁄10. Soggy fish for a place specializing in the stuff should not earn them above a 3. So, that’s what I’ll lower it to for now. #truck #mexican #fishburrito #fishtaco #burrito #taco

So here’s a funny story. When I was small I was sitting next to a pond and a fish jumped out a scared me. I was just a toddler. Since that day, according to my mother I would always hate seafood and fish. To this day I still don’t eat it. That all changed the day I took a bite of myshrimp shack’s spicy shrimp! After 40 years I started my first live of a sea food, shrimp. Emboldened I tried another seafood food truck, the Fish Taco Wabo truck! Holy moly! What have I been missing out all these years. The best tacos I have ever had!!! Once again shrimp tacos were fantastic. And the service is always with a smile. I think they will be one of my favorite trucks from now on. I hope to branch out to some other seafoods soon. Anyone got any good suggestions!

Part of the Movable Feast food truck brigade that comes to North Park every Sunday. Very authentic tacos at the core, but with added touches that really make the tacos stand out. Not too spicy or cilantro overload– all ingredients were in perfect proportion. They use the small taco shells that can be easily overfilled, so they give you am extra shell for each taco you order to catch the fallout from your bites. Lovely lunch. Highly recommended.

Usually I would be iffy about places(especially food trucks) that sell a huge variety of foods, because it makes it seem like they don’t actually specialize in anything(it says burritos, burgers, and other things on the side of the truck). However, I listened to my trusty friends at Unilocal and got what the truck was named for — the seafood tacos. They were 3 for $ 7, which in the world of tacos isn’t that bad — and they weren’t super, super tiny either. One each: calamari, shrimp, and fish. The shrimp was probably my favorite, the fish(a chunk of fish right on there) and calamari with plenty of meat were also good. Whatever sauce they had on it was delicious, and it definitely left me full and satisfied. It’s not the best taco I’ve ever had, but it sure was tasty.

We hired Fish Taco Wabo to be one of our catering food trucks at our wedding reception. I really wanted to have tacos at the receptions and this truck came up as a local option after doing some research. I first visiting them near Japantown in San Jose at an event they were having. After asking them what their most popular tacos were, they suggested the seafood options and we decided to go with their fried shrimp, calamari, and fish tacos. The tacos are deliciously simple and made to order. Three tacos will satisfy most, as they are of decent size. The owners of the truck are really nice, family run, and care about their customers. While working with them on our wedding, they were very accommodating and provided an amazing experience and food for our guests. I would highly recommend Fish Taco Wabo if you’re looking for some simple and tasty seafood tacos for everything from lunch to a catered event. Food trucks make anything fun!

I’ve been spoiled with my tacos since coming out here, but this truck takes it up a notch. Now they do have the regular taco fillings — carne asada, pork, chicken, chorizo. I had the chorizo one as I love chorizo, but if you are coming to a «fish» taco truck, still with the seafood. I am a big fan of fish tacos, so I had to get one. Most of the ones I have had in the past are small fried pieces of fish. This time, it was one huge fried fish«finger» that was cooked perfectly and covered in a great sauce. It was so big it was coming out of both sides of the tortilla, and as a single piece, this was the least messy taco I had. But the highlight was the calamari taco. Perfectly fried squid filled this taco. There was sauce and salsa, but the great calamari really stood out. If given a chance I would get more of just the calamari and I’m not alone — as I was leaving another patron saw the calamari and was thrilled. The staff was really nice, spending some time to talk to me about their story and if I see them again, they are a beeline truck.
