Dr. Pontynen is a brilliant dentist. I started seeing him after Dr. Basta retired and his professional care has been absolutely top notch. He truly cares about his patients. He does everything he can to see that the patient is comfortable. He is also extremely creative in coming up with innovative solutions to dental problems. I strongly recommend this truly outstanding denist.

I too agree Dr. Pontenyn is the best dentist. I have been coming to him for over 10 years. My husband, son and daughter are all patients as well. Dr. Pontynen takes a personal interest in each of his patients and implements restoration strategies that he expects to last a lifetime. His crown and filling work are immaculate. I had all my childhood, mercury fillings replaced with porcelain. You cannot tell the difference from my real teeth and the restored ones. They look and feel amazing. My son is undergoing major othodontic care. Most dentists would refer the patient to the ortho and then walk away. Not Dr. Pontenyn. He works hand in hand with the orthodontist to ensure the strategy is the best possible one for the patient. I would never trust my or my family’s mouths to another doctor.

This is about as good as you can get for dentistry, especially restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Pontynen studied for many years under Thomas Basta in this office before taking over this practice. Going here I know I’m getting the latest in dental technology.
