Indian Spring Winery

A nice, family-​run winery with a cozy tasting room and wonderful outdoor patio. They offer music most Friday and Saturday nights and have an on-​site food truck that offers good food reasonable prices. Many wineries I have been to offer a small cheese and cracker plate for more than twice the price of the grocery store. Here I was able to get a grilled chicken sandwich, hamburger and an order of hand-​cut fries for less than the local fast food chain. The wines are mostly made from grapes grown on the property. Some are aged in stainless tanks while others are aged in oak barrels. The owners were personable and knew their wines and how they made them. You can tell they have a real passion for it!
